Im a doctor and i kinda understand what you all mean. there are some girls that assume that marrying a doctor means automatic wealth, but they fail to understand that some of these guys work hard for their money and arent eager to dash it to their wives so they can spend any how.

On a more serious note, the love for doctors is highly overrated, if u ask me. And no, i wudnt marry a medical doctor, i dodged dating the finest of my classmates throughout med skul. They can't seem to be able to talk of anything else othr than skul or as the case is now, work. I've bin dating social science chics since my undergraduate days.
Ladies, a piece of advice: if u want a guy that has job security+time+ money, pls marry an IT specialist. Enuf said.

Engineers of all sorts are still rocking, these guys aint going nowhere, they hold the number one spot. Then economists, business development specialists, IT however, slowly phasing out just too many its like a whole generation of them. 

Oh no! I shouldn't forget this, Mr DJ, I dont know if its a profession or not, but perhaps a career. I'd fall for Mr DJ too this guy's got the funkiest job. Actually let's put Mr DJ at the top of the list.

Then there's the new generation of consultants. These are guys who leave corporate and turn their craft into little consulting firms, with nothing but the wits and experience gained from being part of the working class. I think its a cute and sexy hustle.

We have the guy that's called BEE. This guy has replaced the good old doctor. He gets big government tenders, buys a Porsche and hosts a million$ party before he can start the project  , he has an ungraceful bravado. The true definition of "money cant buy you class"   


I have no doubt that doc's will make a great come back if and only if they start specializing in cosmetic surgery. 

We are sooo swamped with GP's and O&G's its nauseating and quite frankly I've yet to meet anyone who would tell me they had a great day at work listening to people one by one talk about their aching bodies, and somehow you were the person who had to "GUESS" what could be the problem and remedy.

I would love to marry a doctor or a successful man because I am in medical school and I don't see myself getting married to a man who is not up to the task. It's just common sense. I want to support my husband and I want him to be able to do the same!

Does a women being a doctor make her more attractive to you? Would you want to marry a doctor? I sometimes hear that men don't like women who are too educated b/c they are too independent. I feel like no matter how educated a women is, her role as a wife and mother comes before her career. I don't want to get married now since I'm only in my first year, but I hope to be able to find someone by the time I graduate. I don't want to wait till after my residency, b/c I'd be almost 30 then.

For you to be an ordinary medical doctor does not mean you are too educated, but if you finally have a PhD in medicine, then you are a bit too educated.
