[size=13pt]if you think about it critically, what you posted is what actually will get the economy going. Those youths and women paid to wear his image on shirts will be given money. The people who printed the shirts will be paid. The police, sss and army will be given allowances. At the end, these people will be able to put food on the table for their families. Newspapers will make money from the ads and be able to pay its staff. Basketmouth nd co entertainers will get paid. Akpabio bringing him to akwa ibom might convince zuckerberg to invest there too. During the pdp era, a lot of money was released to some frivolities, but at the end those moneys made it into the hands of the poor masses and businessmen. The summary and results of all the above points is that, there will be money in the land. People making clothes, caps, T-shirt etc will have jobs and money will flow for businesses and taxes will be paid to the government. Still better than a government that kept all the monies to itself. 4 Likes |

nwanna89: Very true. It is just that the money can be channelled into projects with lasting impact. This FG should learn that and spend quickly. But I think they are facing internal saboteurs! And they are possibly making the same mistake ex President Jonathan made, not having enough courage to remove non-performers, saboteurs and deadwoods. Secondly, Nigerians should come to terms that the country is virtually broke. They have little money to spend. Income has dropped drastically and Nigeria is carrying too heavy overheads. |
