These people are trying to justify the ineptitude, gross incompetent & ineffectiveness of this administration. The truth is that Buhari & APC were never prepared for governance, they were more prepared to run a parallel government. They never believed GEJ will concede defeat & that exposed the bogus & empty campaign promises. The truth is that even if oil sells at 1000 per barrel today, Buhari & APC has no road map nor blueprint to govern Nigeria.. Almighty Saudi is in trouble too. They can't fund their social intervention programme and are trying to raise taxes with people resisting. United Kingdom. This is one of the reasons they did a brexit. The oil in the north Sea is even more difficult to produce than in other parts of the world. This makes production or further exploration not viable. Shell worldwide cut over 7,500 jobs last year and has done 5,000 this year. Closing shop in Manchester, Reading and here in Aberdeen. What of BP that saw quarterly profits drop by 91%, Talisman Sinopec etc? The north Sea is shaken by redundancy and is barely managing to hang on. That our highly corrupt oil-based economy is just in recession is a miracle. The things we need to do immediately to exit is what we should focus on now. 5 Likes |

Only Nigeria and Venezuela are worst off because of clueless government. If the first assignment a president embarked on after being sworn in is to declare around the world that corruption is endemic in his country, how do you expect foreign investors to bring their investments to a country declared corrupted. |

First of all, it's really stupid for a student to justify his f9 by citing examples of fellow students that failed with him. The op is definitely very unintelligent. That being said, it's pertinent to note the recession in nigeria was caused by BAD POLICIES. Nigerias is not as buoyant ( we still generate billions from oil and gas)as before, bUT bulk of expenditure isn't spent on subsidizing basic necessities. If the govt can't pay it's bills, then let privates take over. All APC do is blame Oil price and GEJ. Buhari rule this country for 6-7 months without Finance minister, only sick people thinks it has no negative effect on the economy. The first appointment he made was media representatives and photographers, as per flexing old man na. As usual his supporters were praising him. while dollar was dancing high. He only came to his senses too late and of cause inverted the economy forum where all they do his blame GEJ for any of their failure.
