It seems, regular street light is still better considering the rate at which new solar street light gets bad.

I guess it boils down to the quality of materials used. Iv seen solar lights installed at the specialist hospital bauchi by julius berger, they outlived the tenure of the then governor muazu and are still in service today.

Most of them are done to retire govt income and not meant for services.

yu are right though, but there are few solar street light projects
That last for a long time.
