I tried to spend some of my holiday time on researching our clubsides' followership on Twitter and my findings were quite revealing: 1. Enyimba = 25,993 followers 2. Rivers United = 14,331 followers 3. Sunshine = 11,724 followers 4. Heartland = 11,048 5. Rangers = 11,035 6. Lobi = 10,916 7. Ifeanyi Uba = 4,778 8. MFM = 4,382 9. Warri Wolves = 4,066 10. Ikorodu = 3,554 11. Nasarawa = 2,259 12. Wikki = 1,746 13. Abia Worriors = 1,697 14. Plateau = 1,490 15. Akwa Utd = 1,303 16. Shooting Stars = (can't believe this) 1,141 17. Tornadoes = 750 18. Giwa (if you wish) = 40 followers can't find Kano Pillars (recent serial champions for that matter) and El Kanemi on twitter. I don't believe 3SC have only that few followers, perhaps they have another account I don't know of. Meanwhile compared with clubsides elsewhere... Accra Hearts of Oak (Ghana) = 27,639 Zesco United (Zambia) = 4,542 TP Mazembe (Congo DR) = 28,594 Gor Mahia (Kenya) = 31,705 Esperance (Tunisia) = 19,063 Mamelodi Sundowns (South Africa) = 111,896 Orlando Pirates (South Africa) = 333,285 Kaizer Chiefs (South Africa) = 777,366 Zamalek (Egypt) = 960,110 Al Ahly (Egypt) = 1,017,648 Tottenham = 1,642,095 Man City = 3,519,769 Liverpool = 6,187,552 Chelsea = 7,360,527 Arsenal = 8,028,334 Man Utd = 8,791,854 Real Madrid (English) = 6,446,991 Real Madrid (Spanish) = 20,593,350 Barcelona (English) = 10,186,374 Barcelona (Spanish) = 18,525,021 |

South Africans and sports .. ... I wonder This is hilarious. Revive sports in schools and let Youths have something to fall back onto besides the logo of some of these clubs are wack and not worth publicity Let them try to be colorful, creative in all ramifs |
