The 9/11 Attack 15year After; A Victory Against Terrorism by govmentson(m): 9:50am On Sep 16, 2016
15 years after the most deadliest attack in human history, the 9/11 terrorism attack that shocked the World, the attack almost crumbled New york city, the rest of America and the World economically, as business and activities were in complete shut down for days. The attack was so devastating and destructive that building six blocks away was affected and the area of the attack was nick named 'Ground Zero'.

But this year marks 15years after the attack, the completion of One Trade Center and the on going contruction of the Second World Trade center into a more sophisticated building shows the victory over terrorism, It shows the sealed victory of America as a symbol of light over terrorism as a symbol of darkness.
Soon after the September 11 attacks, Mayor Rudy Giuliani, Governor George Pataki, and President George W. Bush vowed to rebuild the World Trade Center site. On the day of the attacks, Giuliani proclaimed, "We will rebuild. We're going to come out of this stronger than before, politically stronger, economically stronger. The skyline will be made whole again.
During a visit to the site on September 14, 2001, Bush spoke to a crowd of cleanup workers through a megaphone. An individual in the crowd shouted, "I can't hear you," to which Bush replied, "I can hear you. The rest of the world hears you. And the people who knocked these buildings down will hear all of us soon

The immediate response from World Trade Center leaseholder Larry Silverstein was that "it would be the tragedy of tragedies not to rebuild this part of New York. It would give the terrorists the victory they seek

Larry Silverstein is majorly responsible in achieving this great feat, he his the unseen hero of the battle against terrorism in the world. After surviving the attack himself by coincidentally not being in the building the day of the attack, Larry Silverstein has took it as a personal endeavor to see the World Trade Center reconstructed. He fought all the legal battles posing as hindrance in reconstructing the building, and always reminds Americans why the building needs to be reconstructed.
