Let me bury my annoyance and explain the issue. 23rd September of every year is celebrated as AKWA IBOM DAY to mark the creation of the state by the then Military Head of State, Gen I. B. Babangida. That the IPOB/MASSOB had declared tomorrow a sit at home is a mere coincidence. Even the core Biafra states do not declare tomorrow a public holiday, so Akwa Ibom can't do so. Thanks. 4 Likes |
