So they are not telling us the processor inside lol. It's definitely not an helio x20 or even x10 because if it is either of those they would proudly flaunt it. Hope it is not the same MT6753.

i will still continue using my NOTE IIwith marshmallow . Even after 4 years in existence , it can still compete with this few days old phone

Exactly what I'm saying. IF they can't use mtk Helio x20 or even x10 then it is a big fail. I mean they can't just put MT6753 on a supposedly flagship device. Just imagine they wrote 2.0ghz decacore. They think we are fools or what? Why aren't they telling us the processor type?

It would be a very stupid move if they use MT6753 with a 2.0ghz processor. But I don't think they would do that. The best thing would have been to use a snapdragon processor but tecno says it is too expensive.

The mtk processor that is closest to snapdragon 820 is helio x20 but it is obvious it is not the chip used here or tecno would have been bragging about it and include it in the specs. If rumors that Gionee m6 is coming with helio x20 is true that it has already killed phantom 6 before they even start.

lets not jump to conclusions. I have doubts about the phantom 6 with an octacore, but the 6 plus with decacore is definitely x10 or x20 coz i dont think the chips before those could run that many cores.

All that aside, i too had my first look at it a few hours back and i will say the display on the amoled screen is really good though i wish they'd used QHD.
The phone is significantly lighter than the phantom 5
The cameras are really good. But i believe the improved display quality had a role to play in this.

They refused to reveal the official prices until its launched over the weekend.

Have you seen and used the phone first hand?

Yeah, like u saw in the pictures above, the phones are on display in various shops around. But not yet on sale. U can go have a look, check out the camera, design, etc. They most likely wont give u the prices, though i heard that some outlets will let u make a pre-order.
