Mum-of-two exposed as paedophile after having sexual contact with 14-year-old schoolboy

A woman could be heard crying in court as Angela Gatt admitted engaging in sexual activity with the child.

She will be sentenced at a later date, but was told she was also now on the sex offenders’ register, reports the Daily Record .

Full details are expected to be revealed next month.

The 37-year-old wept as she appeared in the dock at Carlisle Crown Court last week.

She confessed to sexual activity with the youngster in a house in North Cumbria last summer.

Gatt dramatically switched her plea to guilty as she was about to face trial before Judge Barbara Forrester.

She engaged in sexual contact with the boy on June 21 last year.

Gatt was also involved in a shameful case which made lurid headlines last September.

Women carers photographed their own private parts, breasts and bottoms and sent the images to colleagues via Snapchat.
