As there were parade throughout Nigeria Yesterday, Nigerians Living in New York City came out in Thousands to celebrate Nigeria 56th Independence Anniversary. The parade started around 12 noon, between 53th street on 2nd Avenue and 44th street. People later converged at a park on 46th street beside Nigeria House. There were lot of activities, and Nigerian food in surplus.

This is good.

A celebration of Nigeria anywhere in the world,should make us proud.

Heck,there are more Rats (Big ones)in New York City than the whole of Nigeria.

Impressive. Any unity amongst my people is a positive to me. Wish I was there. Hoping it grows into a larger crowd next year.
