****PROLOGUE****

48 HOURS EARLIER

He was panthing very hard as he was running in the thick dark bush, he keeps looking back to get the glimpse of the person chasing him, still he keeps running forward, he look back for the last time and saw that the person chasing him as stopped so he made to rest a little bit, but all of a sudden he felt a piercing pain in his left tigh and he fall down groaning in pain, he tried to stand up again and he saw someone walking toward him point a shinning silver gun at and realisation hit him that the person chasing him has caught up with him.

he lay still groaning in pain, the man with the gun walks up to him pointing his gun at him, where is the device he asks him, i don't know man he replied groaning in pain and just then he realeased another bullet into his right leg, holy shit he groan out in pain, i will ask u for the last time where is the device the guy with the gun asked again, ok ok i will tell u man its in a safe in berlin germany, i swear thats all i know man don't kill me, he replied groaning out in pain, thanks for the information the guy with the gun replied and pull the trigger... End of the prologue

CHAPTER ONE
JFK INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT WASHINGTON DC

Alex Dickson is one of the top special agents in the CIA he is well known in the agency for his successful missions, he is in his early thirties, he is well built with the body of an athlete and about 6ft 2 inchs tall, his black curly hair is cut short, his eyes were brown in colour, he could pass for a model.

He walks out from the airport with a suit case in his hand and flags down a cab, the cab stoped exactly at his front.

Alex got into the back side of the cab, take me to starbuck columbia, he said to the driver, and the cab roared into live.

The cab driver is a black american man with a thick black american accent, first time you coming to america? the driver asked trying to start up a conversation, no been living here befor just coming back from a business trip, Alex replied and the journey continues in silent.

After some minutes of driving the driver make some turns and brought the car to a halt in a quite area, Alex look out and saw that its not the place he was going the driver brought him.

Of course it aint, the driver replied pointing a silver baller pistol at Alex, he ushered him out of the car to the back side of the car, still pointing the gun at his face, in quick reflex Alex gave the driver a jab to d hand and he lost balance to the grip of the gun, another puch to the face and a round house kick, the driver was on the floor, Alex made towards him and he sent a pucnch to Alex face but he was quick to dodge it, Alex gave him another kick to his left rib, and cracking of bone could be heard, he draged him up and placed him on the boot of the cab.

who sent you Alex fire at the cab driver but he got no replies, before he could ask another question the driver was already dead with a bullet hole on his forehead, He quickly take cover behid the cab, it was then he realised that whoever sent the driver has make sure he does nt reveal any secret.

Who could be responsible for the attack was all that was in his mind since he just got back from Japan...

***CHAPTER TWO***

**RUSSIAN HARBOR MURMANSK**
The weather is calm and bright, the moon is full and shinning brightly, the wind is blowing calmly, the murmansk harbor is quiet and deserted except for the occasional partrol of the guards, there were stories that the old submarine the russians used in the world war two were kept in the murmansk harbor, so there were restriction of access to the habor, a non authorised person can not move about in the harbour, it also serves as one of the base of operation for the terrorist group called THE SECT ....

The street of murmansk were lit up with the street lamps though the sky is bright, few people could be seen standing and walking and some talking along the streets of murmansk, some shops were already rounding up for the day's work......... Six black heavy chevy suv's drive roughly through the streets with their headlamps at full heading towards the habour, not even minding knocking off people along the street, ''crazy bastards'' a love pedler cursed out in russian... few minutes later the trucks were driving through the rough parts of the road that led to the harbour, minutes later they were at the harbour, the trucks stopped, and eight men all clad in black suits alighted from the trucks and head straight into a very big cruise boat anchored at one side of the harbour, there were two guards at the entry of the ship and they salute the men in blacks as they enter.
There were twelve men inside the boat all sitted in cicle round a long table all this men are not friends just equal partner, the room is decorated well to look like a conference hall.
A man came in and take his sit at the head of the table, he has a long black hair no sign of emotion could be found on his face, he has a scar that cross from his ear to d left side of his mouth, tales had it that the man use to hold a jack knife under his pillow while sleeping, so one day he forgot that he was holding the knife under his pillow and he cut himself when he made to turn sides while sleeping, his name is Dimitri Blofed, he is the leader of terrorist group THE SECT, they are invlove in many shady activites, such as Blackmailing, Assasinating, and so many other heinous crime, they are normally at this spot to have their meeting whenever there is a high profile crime to commit...

Today we are here on another high profile job, the job involves a high intelligence device called the fulcrum, our Agent has been tracking this device for a month now, but we got the info about the location of the device yesteday night, that it's in a save house in Berling germany, but our source did not get the exact location of the save house... The CIA is also after this device so we have to act fast before its too late, our employer is paying us Two Hundred million dollars for this device.. Dimitri finished briefing his people about their new mission, there was a soft mumur among them, they were considering the job..

Mr Cardinal will be in charge of this misson ''Dimitri continued'', he will be in charge of all operation on this mission, he will travel to germany and find the device and report back to us how the operation is progressing, Dimitri announced.
Mr Dimitri, with respect, I don't think we should take this job, moreover we should not be trying to start an unending battle with the CIA, the risk of this job is way higher than the gain, it was Mr Levi sitting in the mid right side of the long conference table speaking.
Am afraid you Mr Levi has a point but we are not cowards that turn tail and run from battle, Dimitri Said and brought out a glock .46 pistol and shot mr Levi thrice one bullet to the forehead and two to the head, who else seems to think that we should not take this job He ask and everyone was sillent, no one wants to recieve a bullet to his head... With that the meeting came to an end and everyone left the boat...

Alex came out of a electronics shop and head for his car, he went into his car and drove off to his apartment...
In a corner a man stands and captured Alex as he got out of the shop and head for his car, after taking tons of pictures of Alex, he moved his right hand to his right ear and pressed the mini earbud inside his ear and said the two words target moving...

***CIA HEADQUARTERS LANGLY VIRGINIA***
The cia headquarter is filled up with many agents all clad in black suits, each sitted behind cubicles doing their jobs, some of the agents here are field agents while some are non field agents, either technicians or profiler and analyst,s ome agents are seen moving about doing their job with id cards hanging around thier necks, there are guards each standing at alert at thier duty post or partroling each coners of the agency... the cia contains many rooms that possessed high-tech equipments and various secuirity faetures, which some of the rooms can only be accessed by authorised personnel only a among this room are the weapon room, the conference room and the server room which serves as the main control center of the agency...........

In the conference room which also serves as the debreifing and file room of the agency, the director in his early sixties with a round large glasses that magnifies his eyes hanging on his face and many top agents could be seen in the room including Alex all standing and facing a large computer monitor hanging on the wall, waiting for the profiler and analyst to start the debreifing of the misson at hand...

A guy with a blonde spikey hair with average height of 5ft 6inchs walks to the monitor hanging on the wall, his name is Mark Tyler he is the top computer wizard and profile analyst of the agency, he was recruited into the agency from the FBI college quantico due to his knowledge on computer.... "Ahem" he callled the attention of the people in the room to himself, he pressed a remote in his hand and all the light in the room went dim, and the large computer monitor hanging on the wall came on with a bright light illuminating the room...

Good day everybody mark greet and continue without waiting for reply. This device u are looking at on the screen is a high intelligence micro chip called the Fulcrum, "What is this Fulcrum" Alex asked interupting mark.
The Fulcrum is a high intelligence micro ship, that was built for the united state armies, it contains nuclear codes and highly classified secrets to how to make a chip that will make and modify the Human brain to function as a super computer, this secrets will turn a normal huma bieng into a super fighter and raise the IQ above normal, that is whoever this chip is installed on will be smart and very strong above normal, this chip was stollen from the pentagon a month ago, we believe a terrorist group called THE SECT was the brain behind it, the Director replied and adjust his glasses.... Mark continued, one of our agent, agent Max was on an undercover mission to retrieve this chip, we believe he got the location of this chip before he was compromised, we only got the last location of both the chip and agent Max through the distress call he sent in two days ago before we lost contact with him, the last location was in Berlin Germany... With this Mark conclude his analysis...

Agent Alex, you are going on this mission, the director starts speaking, Your mission is to infilterate The Sect andretrieve both the chip and Agent Max if he is alive, this are your traveling pasport and documents, the Director said and handed Alex a brown evelope containing the traveliing documents, you will be traveling under the alias of a american german billlionaire Kiefer Travin on a bussiness trip, our divisional branch agents will be waiting for you at the airport, you should stop at the workshorp before leaving for your flight... ***BERLIN TEGEL AIRPORT GERMANY***
After many hours in the flight the journey has seems like an eternity to Alex, the airplane rumble into it gate. The fasten your sit belt sign blink as they approach the run way of the Berlin Tegen airport, about a minute later the, the plane was on the ground, everyone stood up as one, scrabling for the overhead bins, Alex picked up his suitcase and quickly passed through immigration and customs and out into the nice weather of Berlin, he stopped at the cab side of the airport, and then he saw two people a woman and a man clad in black suit, the man was holdind a placard with his name on it, Alex went over to them, as soon as they saw him they walk over to him as well...

The lady was also wearing a black suit and black trouser that brought out her hour glass faetures, her blonde hair was packed well to the back, she has a round pouted lips with a toned body and brown eyes that make her look more attracting, she is in her late twenties, Alex was marveld at the Lady's beauty...

Hello Agent Alex, am Agent Juliet Jones, and this Agent Tom Bradley we are from the divisonal CIA branch here in germany, we are here to pick u up to your Hotel, its nice to finally meet u one on one, the lady said... ''The pleasure is all mine'', Alex said, finally geting back his voice after been silent for some seconds, the bunky man beside her collected Alex's suitcase and they walked to a neatly Rolls Royce phantom parked at parking garage of the airport...
Few minutes later they were on the wide three lane highway that led into the city of Berlin...

Sitting in the back of the air conditioned car, gazing out of the car he was impressed by the site of the city, he devoured all the beautiful site he was seeing, he looked at rearview mirror in the car and noticed a car that has been tailling them rite from the airport, or so he thought, he discarded the feeling and said in his mind it could be only a coincident, minutes later the car stopped at a huge skycrapper Hotel, the lady got down from the car and Alex did the same and he saw the car he thought was tailing them speed past them, they walked into the hotel reception, the lady make enquiries about the reservation that was make earlier in the name of a GermanyAmerican billionaire business man Kiefer Travin, and minutes later they were in the Evlevator to the Ninth floor of the building, the elevator stopped and they steped out into the corridor and walked into the room with 2118 neatly written on the door, the room was a presidential suit, well furnished, with a pleasant fresh air emanating from the room...
This is your Hotel room, you will be staying for now, till the CIA safe house is completed to the likeness you requested, the Lady said, this is the key to the ride that we prepared for you according to your request, its in the hotel garage downstairs, there are also the gadgets you will be needing for the misson in the safe over there, she said pointing to a side at the kingsized bed, if you need any thing else, Agent Tom will be here to help you.. I will be here to pick you up at 6pm... Full details to the mission is in this file ,she said and droped a file on the bed and the clothes for the mission are in the closet, so see you at 6 she said and left the room...

***4 HOURS LATER***
Alex was dressed up in a black tuxedo suit, a diamond earring with a diamond wrist watch, he was looking like a real billionaire, he looked at his own reflection and he smiled.
Alex had read the file that Juliet droped for her earlier and he had red that he and juliet will be going to a dinner party like a couple and special guest, the party is been hosted by an billionaire arms dealer by the name Liam Adner.. The misson was simple, the mission is just to get a key card to a safe from liam, the safe is in his room, it contains information about the buyer of the micro chip and location to the chip...

He walked to the side of the bed and opened the safe and saw many gadgets in the safe, a smith wessen pistol, a Le bic pen [though not realy a pen], a mini transmitter and a spectacle... He read all the instructions attached to the gadgets and locked back the safe...

Minutes later Agent Juliet was in the Room clad in a red straight gown with a high heel shoe, a minimal makeup, she looks more beautiful than before,.. Good evening agent Alex, good evening agent Juliet, or should i say Mrs kiefer Caroline, she smiled, and they both went to the hotel garage like newly wed couples... Alex opened the door of the newly modified armord Aston Martin V8 sport car for Juliet and then she went in, and he got into the driver's side and input the location of the mansion into the gps of the car and he then smiled and said to her, ''we are in for a long night'' and sped off...

***LIAM ADNER MANSION***
The weather of the night is cool, the moon is shining brightly, the cool air of the night is blowing gently ,its a good night to kill...

The athmosphere in the Mansion is colourful and bright into the night, different super cars are parked inside the mansion, all the people inside the banquet hall are all in couples, a man and a woman each, all this people are either weapon dealers or drug lords, politicians, tv personalties, or even business moguls that are invoveld in shady deals...

Alex drove the car into the mansion and parked in the the parking space available, he got out of the car, he was hit by the deep cold chill of the night, the fresh air passing through his hair sent a shiver throgh his body, he braced his self up and he walked to the passenger's side of the car and open the door for Juliet, she was charming as usual, he was lost in the euphora of her beauty for some seconds but he quickly comport his self and he streched his right hand towards and she grabbed and they both walks towards the entrance of the mansion, they were stopped at the entrance and searched for weapons after some seconds they walked into the mansion...

The mansion banqueting hall was huge, but it was filled up with many people chattering and laughing like old buddies, within minutes Alex had recognised some of the guest as celeberities from all around the world.
A whole army of waiters in yellow shirt and black trousers were fighting thier way through the crowd carrying trays of vintage champaign..

Liam Adner is a man in his mid fifties, a chubby man with a bald head and a face that makes him look nither handsome nor scarry, he is an arms dealer and drug lord that uses his business company as a facade to run his illegal deals, he has supplied weapons to different terrorist groups around the world.

Alex pick two glass of champaign from a waiter passing by, he took one for himself and the other for Juliet, he looked round the mansion trying to spot his target Liam Adner, the host of the party, after minutes of looking round and observing, he found him talking with a lady...

''Found him'' Alex said to Juliet

''where is he'' she replied looking at his face

''at your 2 oclock''

Alex watched the man carefuly and monitored his movement, just then brought out the spectacles from his pocket and wear it, he pressed a button and it switched to an infarred body scanner, he scanned him throughly and he found the electronic card in the left side pocket...

''i found the card, i'll need you to create a diversion for me'' Alex said and gulped down the champaign

''copy that'' she replied and catwalked towards the old man.

Alex droped the glass of champaign back on the tray of another waiter walking by, he wait for some seconds for Juliet to get to the old man then he walks towards the man himself, and then it happend fast with a blink of an eye he picked the card from the pocket of the old man, he walked to a quiet side in the hall and brought out his smart phone, he then punched in some commands and a map came up showing all the passageway in the mansion with two tiny dots a green and a red, the green dot is the location of the master's bed room that the file is located, while the red one is where he is, he had to be fast before the old man knows his card is missing...

He has been following the blinking green light until he came to an opening where he saw two big guards guarding the entrance of the room, he quickly hide himself at a conner by the wall, he brought out a coin from his pocket and toss it towards the guard, the first guard saw the coin and he brought out his white desert eagle and walks towards the coin, alex saw that the guard was close he braced himself up and launch foward to the guard, he gave him punch to the face, he send another punch to the left rib of the guard, he quickly grab the gun of the first guard and throw it at the face of the second guard trying to bring out his gun from its hostler, the second guard was stunned and he lost his ballance, he snaped the neck of the first guard and then he quickly send a round house kick to the second guard, the kick send the guard flying to the wall, the guard stands up again and lunged forward to him, Alex threw himself sideways one hand down, he grabed the gun on the ground, he swung it and send it to the guard's throat, it was a perfect hit, the guard clutch his throat and fell down, alex moved to him, grab him and send a finishing punch to his face and and he fainted....

Alex stood up straighten his tuxedo suit, he picked up the elcetronic card from his pocket and he swiped it over the card reader, the door opend he enter into the room, the room was magnificent, he spot the safe beside the bed, he walked to the safe and open it, he searched inside the safe and saw a memorystick, he picked the memorystick, just then he heard the cock of a gun followed by the word ''don't move''

He opened his eyes slowly with a banging headache, the room was dark, he closed his eyes again and opend it again, he tried to adjust his sight to the darkness, he discovered his hands and legs are bound together with a rope, he heard the sound of foot steps approaching and then suddenly the door flunged open, the brightness that came through the door shone brightly into his eyes, he covered his eyes with his hands, then he heard a gruff voice saying, ''Hello Again Agent Alex''

****SIX HOURS EARLIER****
Two men sat down on a leather couch discussing in a room, the room was brightly iluminated with a chandelier hanging down from the ceiling, a small table with a glass of champaign stood at each side of the men, it was surea they were both in a celberatory mood...
One of the man was an Arab man, the other man was Liam Adner, they were both engrossed in the discussion, Liam picked up the glass of champaign beside him and sipped it down then he droped it back, and they continue their discussion, they were interrupted by the vibrating sound of a phone, he picked up the phone and stared at the screen for some seconds and he muttered the word ''He is here''

''Dont Move''
Alex heard the commanding voice and he stood rooted to a spot, the voice was familliar, he tried to remember where he had heard the voice before, he could nt picture the owner of the voice in his heard so he keep his cool and obeyed the commanding voice

''Now turn around slowly and drop that memory stick'' The voice commanded again, Alex turned around sowly and faced his captor, he was baffeled at the person standing at his front, it was no other person than his former partner Agent Max, he made to speak but nothing was forth coming, he looked hard again at the person standing at his front, he still could nt believe what his eyes was seeing....

Agent Max and Alex were partners before, they were best friends, they got into the marines together and they were also recruited into the agency together, but Alex has always been the best in everything but still there friendship was perfect until Max went MIA in the mission to infilterate the terrorist group THE SECT...

''Surprised to see me or thinking about the old times'' Max said, ''thats strange becourse, i never think u will miss me''

Alex was brought back to reality by the voice, he was surprised and happy, but sad and dissapointed that his best buddy that he thought was dead was now standing at his front pointing a gun at him, but he still maintained his cool... ''Why are you doing this'' Alex demanded...

''you are asking me why, oh yea lets just say i got a better offer from a reasonable organisation that i was after for two years'' he replied back and move a bit towards Alex to pick up the memory stick that he dropped on the floor pointing the glock .45 at him....
That was it, Alex rushed at him and slammed him against the wall, he quickly recovered and sent a puch to Alex jaw the punch cought him and he swirved back but he regained his ballance, he sent another punch to his face but Alex guard it off, Alex dived towards him again and send him a punch to his spine another punch to the left Rib and a finishing kick to his groin, he fell down on the floor, both guys panthing heavily... ''How could you betray your own country for some fucking money hun, you fucking son of a bitch, come on get up and fight me, you were never my match and you can never be cos you are just a sidetracking bastard that will betray his country for money'' Alex said and walked back to pick up the flash drive on the floor and then it happend so fast Max brought out a berretta s92d silenced pistol out and fired a shot at Alex but he was quick enough to avoid the bullet, but it grazzed his shoulder, then he heard footsteps approaching, and he quickly dived out of the room not minding his former best friend trying to kill him, he rushed into the reception of the party in the mansion and went straight to Juliet, ''You gotta get out of here,i will create a diversion for you, here, take this'' he said and hand over the flash drive to her, i got some unfinished business to attend to, he made to go she draw him back and planted a soft kiss on his lip, and wisperd the word be safe into his ears, he smilled at her and walked back into the room with a gun...

Juliet walked out of the mansion and head straight to where the car was packed, she got into the car and placed her hand on the mini earbud in his ear and say the word ''Package Secured'' and drove off...

Back in the mansion Alex shot the first guard that approach him and he strangled the second that make a surprise attack on him, he make to get out then he heard cockings of Guns, not one but many guns, he turned back to see his former best friend and the arms dealer Liam Adner with his Arab friend, and all of a sudden he felt the but of a gun hitting him, that was all he last remembered before he blacked out...
