See free kick from Ezenagu! That was even more impressive when you consider the fact that it was struck from just outside the box.
I’ll definitely like to see more of her in the Super Falcons set up

At 25, she would have been a good option for the SF. But since she is now into coaching, I’m not sure if she will have the fitness to play in a game

I Swear, the moment I discovered she has retired and now into coaching i weak ... I think she needs to come out of retirement go into Pro....

She's a National Team Material.. She used to be a good Basketballer too with her excellent range on crosses, tremendous hands.

As far it's a FIFA Women's International Window, No Club have a right to hold on to a player except there's a mutual agreement between the National Team and the Clubside involved due to how important the game is to either side...

By the way, the Clubside decision is more important and highly respected because that's where each players get their regular wages/Salary from except for the USWNT...

Roosa Ariyo club UDG Tenerife is one of the top 6 Club in Spain for over 3years now, I believe with the quality in the team should be better herself there and also be able to earn a regular spot in the National Team...

Coach Randy is the Listening and understanding type of coach who's always ready to give each players chances to prove themselves... About 98% of the players have been given the opportunity to prove themselves except the home base which I'm pretty sure he's going to give more chance when the WAFU Cup comes up because most times it's Played out of the FIFA Free Window and 99% of the Foreign based aren't available but Nigeria mostly make do with the Home Based Player's.. here the likes of Vivian Ikechukwu, Demehin, Monday Gift and Co can take their Chance

Big Player's made for big moments. Carli Lloyd and Megan Rapinoe each tallied a brace (including an olimpico!) Vs Australia to help the US earn Bronze at #Tokyo2020.

Aisha Buhari Cup: Dates adjusted as participating teams get invitation letter
5th August 2021

The date for the Inaugural Aisha Buhari Invitation Tournament has been adjusted to take place from September 13 to 21, 2021.

This was confirmed in an invitation letter sent to the General Secretary of participating countries signed by the Director of Organisation and Chairperson of the Nigeria Women Football League (NWFL), Aisha Falode on August 4, 2021.

“On behalf of the President of the Nigeria Football Federation NFF, Amaju Pinnick and Chairman
Organising Committee Barrister Seyi Akinwunmi, we have the pleasure to update you on our
Secretary General’s invitation of 13 April 2021 to the Senior National women’s team to the Six-Nation Invitational Tournament (Aisha Buhari Cup) in Lagos, Nigeria.” The letter read.

The tournament which has host Nigeria, Ghana, Mali, Morocco, Cameroon, and South Africa will be held in Lagos,
from 13 – 21 September 2021. The date according to the letter has been slightly adjusted.

Competing teams comprising of 30 delegations are expected to arrive in Lagos for the tournament on September 10, 2021, after the processing of their visas and COVID-19 tests.

It is the maiden edition of the event aimed at promoting the women’s game on the continent by multiplying the number of events women’s national selection participate in.

Competition is in line with a FIFA date (September 13 - 21).
Two groups of three teams, with group leaders playing in finals and probably a day of rest in between matches.
Not so much you can get done with a competition with 6 teams in 8 days

Rapinoe is a legend. She scores the kind of goals no other lady can score. Though she's quite slower now. But the quality is top notch. Lloyd too is a top finisher. I heard she's retiring.

Ibube Whyte is just terrible.
Let in a 30m freekick.
2-1 to Hassaccas.

2-1 Hassaccas.
The Ghanaians are playing Rivers Angels hard and taking no prisoners.
Weak point for Nigeria has been the Goal Keeper, Ibube Whyte. Age has most certainly caught up with her. Her reaction time to shots has always been suspect, but was really exposed today. She seems to struggle with high balls.
Okon needs to consider the other girl he brought in after Whyte conceded the penalty against Amis du Monde in the semis.
She seems to be more agile and can handle crosses better than Whyte.

Who did that back flip for Rivers Angels in the attack just immediately after they conceded the 2nd goal? was it vivian ikechuckwu?

She's playing like she is 40.
Quite heavy in size and not agile, especially on high balls.

3-1.
Another error from Whyte.
Flubbed on a cross into the box. Cleared intially by the defense, but then long range shot caught her flat footed.
The Ghanaian keeper is miles better than her.
I'm sorry, this lady is done. Coach needs to sub her out. ASAP!

Same thing Okon did while he was the Coach of the Superfalcons, tried every means to make Whyte first choice ahead of veteran Precious Dede then but didn't work out...

Abeg make Okon and e sentiment get out

There are two other younger Goalkeeper in the team Mercy Vincent and Christiana Obia who have grown from the Nigerian U17 set up down to the U20...

It's high time he gives this younger Lad chances and let the heavy Whyte go...

They have experience having played for the Nigeria U17- U20.. if they're not good I don't think they would have been with the age grade teams.
