Nothing more seem to describe the reporting of some western news platform more than hypocrisy.

It bias and one-sided method of news gathering and reporting, has not on castrated objectivity but also thrown it into the lagoon.

Though created to serve the purpose of it publisher/owner, but you would also not expect independent western news houses not to behave in a manner in which truth has be skewed, why subjective reporting elevated to the top; in which it reporting has been known and seen to serve the interest of some.

It number one function, which is to inform us, and keep us abreast of happening around us, has also been included into it, mind control. Which is why the way and manner in which the western media keeps us under wrap is somehow confusing and mind boggling to me. A typical Nigerian, knows no what is happening in his backyard, but knows more than a citizen of USA or UK of what is happening in his/her country.

We depend greatly on them for information in their country and funny part, ours to. In doing that we forget what being objective is, forgetting that the western media was created to sell their countries and ways of lives. Which also, is to keep us under their control, just like the slave era, when we looked up to them as god.
The Media is a powerful tool and rightly can be use for good and bad, but lately it has been used to propagate falsehood, in which it is used to deceive and strengthen neo-colonialism.

Not everything you read or see on CNN, BBC, Washington Post, Guardian UK, New York Post etc, are true, more so, not all their published content is to get us inform but to deform us about what is really happening in the world and around us.

The most annoying and awkward part is that we don't always actually feed directly from them, but from our different media platform who know not than lift an unverified news stories from sources like Washington Post, BBC, CNN, Guardian UK etc, who are actually a part game player in the way the world should be.

First it was slavery and colonisation, we fought it and got ourselves out, then came religion, they came with during the colonisation-era, but as time past, some have been able to do way with it. Then came the media, a means to pass around information to people , but now is being used to spread falsehood and to colonise us again.

What baffle me mostly are the so called intelligent people, who have refuse to differentiate between adulterated and unadulterated news stories from them.
Everything has been carefully planned to deceive and convince undecerning millions that some people and nations are actually bad, devil associate.

Countries like Russia, China and Cuba, Iran etc, had all being on the receiving end of the western media repugnant method of news gathering, writing and subsequent publishing to the society.

The war in Syria, is a very lucid example of how things work, each time something happens and doesn't favour the opposition rebels, which is backed by the US and Saudi Arabia, then you get a different and bastadized news of happening on ground. they have refused to report about the crimes against humanity committed by them, but prefer to write and broadcast about Assad actions in his country and shirk reporting about the atrocities committed by the said coalition forces, who atimes hit civilians with their said bombing of Islamists.

Also, the Saudis continuous bombing of Yemen, that has killed civilians and destroyed lives through their intervention in a civil conflict happening in the country, is a having a low or none coverage which is a result of a surprising silence mode initiated by BBC, Washington Post, CNN etc, about happenings in the country but prefer to focus on Syria.

The invasion of Iraq is also another clear example of how the western media operate. Media houses, mostly from USA, propagated and published false information about the Iraq of Saddam Hussein having weapons of mass destruction, invaded the country, killed millions Iraqis and after their said confirmed published stories turned out to be false and the consequences of the war is still being felt in that region till day, which was what brought Islamic State.

It is all about being the world power.

You have nothing further than the truth. One should always be critical of the news coverage from Western media be it either right wing/conservative or left wing/liberal. Once they start demonizing any person or nation, nothing can make them change.
