Our different body parts communicate with each other in several ways and we can get some indications to our health conditions by closely observing this transformation processes, while our urine and facial skin tells us something about what is going on with our health, our hair also helps us to detect some defect in our health system.

Here are some health conditions indicated by your hair which you probably have not heard about.

Dry and Brittle hair

The breaking off of hair is usually an indication to excessive, it is normal to lose some hair strands daily.

However, if this get very frequent even without any touch, this might just be an indication to telogen effluvium- caused by psychological and physical stressors precipitated by depression and illness.

Scaly red scalp patches and hair thinning

Once you realize that you’ve got scaly red patches on scalp and your hair is beginning to thin out, this could be an indication to psoriatic arthritis affecting both your joints and skin thereby making you feel really fatigued than usual.
Stagnant Hair

When your hair does not seem to be growing and you discover that it has been stagnant, this might just be an indication to lack of sufficient protein ( protein sufficiency).

You need to consume more foods that are rich in protein and improve your diet in order to grow stronger, longer and thicker hair. Eating protein rich foods such as lean meat, fish and nuts would help improve your hair growth.

Circular bald spots

Having a circular bald spot on your hair could be an indication to Alopecia areata which is an autoimmune skin disease causing the body to savage hair follicles thereby resulting in hair loss from every part of the human body.

Splint ends in hair

This could also be an indication to Systemic Lupus alongside Hashimoto disease. Once the breaking off of hair is accompanied by strange scalp rashes, energy and weight loss, then you’ve got to take out sometime to visit your doctor.

This hair condition could also indicate iron deficiency anaemia, the lack of sufficient oxygen in hair could cause the body to begin to wrestle with the various parts of the body system including the hair follicles.

Bald Patterns on Scalp

This is due to the change in hormone levels in post delivery, causing the hair to thin and fall out. This may also be due to the low level of testosterone in the body.
