Nigerian so called big men are shameless. DSS accused Adeniyi of corruption, and as a learned man I expected him to see this as an opportunity to set the record straight. Resorting to juvenile sentiments and trying hard to subscribe to public sympathy will not help him.

Despicable old judges, giving justices to the highest bidders, when repercussions come, they look for the public for solace.

DSS/Fed govt jail all of them

Re: Adeniyi Ademola Withdraws From Dasuki’s Trial After DSS Raid by freeze001(f): 12:24pm On Oct 18, 2016
There lies the problem. He recuses himself, it is assigned to another and it starts afresh. More waste of time meanwhile the accused remains in detention for a bailable offence. Even if may be alleged that his actions caused the deaths of many, he is not charged for murder, culpable homicide or manslaughter so jn tte eyes of the law it is a bailable offence.

At this rate, if the case ever gets concluded and he is found guilty and sentenced to time already served, they will say judiciary us corrupt but when they were supporting him to detention ad infinitum they did not know.

No sane judge would have continued, there will already be a clear case of bias. The DSS will be the first to raise it at the next hearing date so he is acting very much within the dictates of his job as a judge.

If there is no hope n trust in the judiciary u run a despotic system with no checks n balances. Is that what u really want? In the grand scheme of things who are the major thieves, is it not politicians from the entire Presidency/Executive to the Legislature?

With the kind of drama and allegations posed against him there will be an automatic issue of bias. There will be an appearance of vested interests and he cannot be seen to be neutral. It is the position of the law that a person cannot be judge in his own cause skills he has acted within the proper dictates of his job as a judge.

He can only prove his innocencein an independent suit between he and the DSS so either d DSS charges him to court for alleged corrupt practices and whatever and they tender their evidence against him or he files an enforcement of human rights proceedings against the DSS. That is only where he can defend himself. He has not acted childishly or thrown juvenile tantrums.

Buharis plan is to hold dasuki in jail for a few years just as he himself was held in jail for a while because if he is so keen on fighting corruption, why are Buratai and Dambazzau still walking free?

An eye for an eye, that's Buhari's mantra, this dasuki case is personal.

A doctor who cures HIV in a patient but ends up causing Cancer in the same patient did not solve any problem. I know the next president of Nigeria is somewhere watching and learning how to use state apparatus for deadly politics. What is happening now is going to be a child's play compared to when power changes hands again because dangerous precedence have been set. I have just learnt a new way to disqualify a judge from a case i have interest in and i know someone will use this tactics in future.

They have indeed shot themselves on the foot. Even APC as a party will not escape it. I see tough times ahead for the Buhari and the APC in the hands of the judiciary. They had better start moving their cases to the ECOWAS court. LOL!

The same way them loose this one? don't worry another judge will be asign to Dasuki and Kanu's case and judgement will be passed cos no judge will want to collect bribe again.

What did Buhari do? DSS do their investigation's and find out some corrupt judges that take bribes and raid their house finding million of naira and some foreign currency and did those judge deny it? No even one said he make those money from selling rice hahaha..

Bro in a sane country no honest judge will grant Dasuki bail despite the allegation.. If you have a brother who happen to be among those Army that was killed due the Dasuki saga what will you be saying now most especially is the Army happen to be your bread winner?

What a pity! Buhari knows what he want, he intimidated d man because Ademola is in charge of three sensitive cases (1) the case of Buhari certificate (2) Kanu's case and (3) Dasuki's case. Can Buhari proof that he has no dollars in his house? Buhari may dwell in hell if he continues like this.
What has he done to those who claimed they cleared d grass of IDP camp with over #700million. What has he done to former PDP chairman Adamu Muazu. What about Buratai case. What has he done to Rotimi Amechi. What about Dr Kayode Fayemi, Fashola and others. He should not be sentimental!

What platform has been given him to prove otherwise? U only know what is being touted on the press, the only guarantee that there is any incriminating evidence against him in possession of the DSS is an entry of same into evidence in an independent trial. His letter to suffices as his words against theirs. The only place he can lend credence to those words is in a court where at d end of the day, judgment will be given in favour of him or the DSS.

For now, by law he cannot continue to sit as a judge over a matter between the DSS and any other person because he has been accused and harassed by them. It is the law that where there is a possibility or hint of bias, the judge must discontinue because it will amount to a nullity at the end of the day particularly if his judgment is appealed against on the ground of bias. For a case as obvious as this, insisting on continuing will be an abuse of judicial process.
