Sorry, but Rob didn't do anything extraordinary for you in this case.

It's an industry standard (.coms) to give a grace period of at least 30 days for registrants to renew domains after expiry, and Epik can't be different. He even charged you higher than normal.

I was able to get back a name they've even removed from my account for $8.99. I think it was around the 28th or 29th day. Chatted up there customer support and told the guy that the name hasn't been up to 30 days post expiry, but they've removed it from my account. Nigga restored it back and asked me to ensure I renewed it same day. It's best to renew names early though.

Please I wish to have opinions on whether it helps (or compulsory) to include a phone number in email signature. I'm wondering if that may be a factor in why some sales don't go through.

I have a Dingtone number, but I am reluctant to include it. Background noise around where I live could give me away if I were to be called unexpectedly; I can find a quiet place if I am the one calling.

Also, there's the accent angle.
