Thanks, first outbound letter I didn’t mention price. He replied to find out price and I stated the price I listed it on dan. Didn’t hear back from him after some couple of follow up like 3times...

Just sent him one more last follow up that there is discount on the domain and he responded immediately on how much he can offer. I accepted it and moved on.

The question is completely valid. Just because someone is using DAN landing page doesn't mean domain sold there. I can sell at afternic and tick at DAN as sold. If i m using DAN landing page,That is the same page that will show anytime someone checks.

I m sure you understands these things already, but you were in a rush to answer him. I think you should try be patience sometimes so as not to portray yourself as arrongant to those of us still learning. We all learning here and you're doing great already.

It is a number game. but to me cashflow is king... if you play your card right, you will keep cash flow going because they add up pretty fast. Huge domains has really ruined the fun IMO... a lot of names you will pick up for $10-50 is being sold for $400.


Someone said it seems like Godaddy gives them discount behind the scene, which I am forced to believe because even Jeff Bezos will not spend money the way they do. Let's admit, not all those names will sell even in 5 years and how they keep bidding amazes me... where are they getting the money from? Another postulated that domainers are the ones funding their bank via dropcatch.
