Google: Lagos Code Camp 10/2009 by NSoul: 6:42pm On Oct 26, 2009
^ Hello All,

As the post-title reads - Google is organizing a code camp event THIS week. It start's on Wednesday (28th) to Friday (30th). Sadly, the event is STRICTLY by invitation, so what i'm writing is more of a notice to the general programming community - that Google, really does have keen eyes on Nigeria.

Now I don't know who (at Google) handles the invites - so don't ask me "how does one get invited" or use those similar clauses.
But i'll post what the invite mail contains (See Below). By-the-way, I'm Looking forward to seeing you all (to those that got the e-mail invite) , though i might be a little late on wednesday - i got some exams in school.

Also, please note that where you see 'sender' in the excerpt-mail, is NOT ME, but the person who sent it.(i.e. in my case- the Google Nigeria Manager)

Regards,
David.
