I honestly feel, you applying again will border on harrasment as I feel your continuous applications already make you seem desperate. As advised above, take time out relax, go to other countries, even explore other options for immigration if that's your view and above all remember that there is a lot of uncertainty with Trump in power and we all have to thread carefully.

Like i said earlier, there is a presumption that you are going to use dis ur 'honeymoon visa' for childbirth, and i think that the VO saw thru it and denied u on dat basis for nt been sincere, now u finally established d vo's assumption by now applying d 2nd time for wat u had always wanted. Probably, d 1st VO u met made a note on ur application. Pls dont bother to reapply, wait it out and probably apply for ur nxt baby. MY OPINION [quote author=Eje18 post=53258534]Helo house. I am a silent reader.. October 12 2016 i applied for honeymoon visa with my hubby. In AbujaThe transcript below.
Vo: Goodmorning

Also, we have to stop this 'i wasn't asked if I was going to give birth' line. If you were pregnant at the time of your interview and they asked why are you going to the US, you had the opportunity to have notified them at that point that you were pregnant even if you hadn't made up your mind to use the visa for that purpose. When my wife and I applied, when asked at the interview, we stated bluntly that she was planning to give birth in the US which was our main reason for the visa( We found out DW was pregnant after we had started the application process)

I totally agree with the bolded statement. DW wasnt asked if she was pregnant even though it was obvious but she was asked if she had a child and her response was no but she is expecting one thus the reason for the application

1. If you still wish to have a child in the US, wait for the next child after this one, you will have in Nigeria.

2. Give about 1-2 years before reapplying, and reapply when your newborn is 1 year old. Travel to countries whose visa applications, require scrutiny.

3. $13,000 is not the ideal for childbirth - $15000 to $20000 is the normal range.

4. It will be kind of hard to convince, a VO, that your next application isn't for childbirth - so just apply for a medical visa straight up.

Thank u so much @shawlar

shawlar:

Yes, you can.

The only advantage (if it can be called one) is that you would not need to process a naija visa or ETC

The ETC is just a letter written on the Naija embassy letter head and can be used only once while the 9ja visa is on the American passport and can be used multiple times (if its a multple entry visa sha).

ETC = Emergency Travel Certificate

You can use your naija licence as far as it's the new one issued by FRSCN . Or better still you can get the intenational drivers licence issued by by same FRSCN,it takes about 3days to get it

If u can get visa on arrival with ur American passport.....why do people still go ahead to get Nigerian passport and 9ja visa before leaving the states?

Re: Give Birth In USA: Cost And Procedures Part 5 by igetam: 7:40pm On Jan 30, 2017
Hi all. Pls anyone has successfully used Visa on Arrival (VOA) should pls answer my question or comment. Thanks.

The person in naija that wants to help u goes to immigration office in ikoyi (about 10 days or so before you and LP are to return back to Naija), asks for d requirements to apply for VOA, applies, will then be told when to come back for it. He/she then goes back for it and emails it to you.

You print and take the document sent to u when travelling back to Naija. When u get to naija, u go to the VOA section and pay $200.

Pls is that ALL?

No extra charges or payments?

Thanks in advance for ur "useful" responses.

Good question.

I guess for those who already planned to, or are willing to go to the states in the US where they can get the passports, getting it makes sense cuz its cheaper than paying for a visa, whether in the US, or the Visa on Arrival in Nigeria....u get it...?

English is quite tricky, I understand you may need it to urgently make a decision or in a tight corner, but there are nicer ways to coin the word instead of the way you did up there like seh pesin na your servant, haba na, use the search button, a few mamas have used NJ eg TKM if i'm not wrong oo
