Satan rebelled in heaven. He was able to deceive one third of the angels in heaven to follow him. That's about several billions of angels. If there were no diseases,how would we know God can heal? If there were no death,how would we know God can raise the dead?


The existence of satan makes us appreciate God more because He is ever there to save us from the devil and when we are saved, a stronger love and bond is built between God and us.


Whether the devil exists or not,that doesn't matter anymore since there is that great love and bond between God and us.
