The project involves the construction of 1500 shop – spaces for these experienced craftsmen who will be empowered to boost their output. A cornerstone of the bargain however is that the products will no longer bear Made in Italy and Made in Brazil but boldly MADE IN ANAMBRA.

This should be made fast so as to decongest Obodoukwu road Okpoko and Relief market of those gifted craftsmen, they need space for their job. Their products are cool too.
Obiano is great, i can remember how that place was but never knew it was for the shoe manufacturers, always wondering anytime I'm coming from 3-3 to Nkpor through Nkwelle express

I won't blame the governor for striking a deal with them to make it 'made in Anambra' because some of the shoes, scandals, sneakers, canvas etc that are labeled from other countries you see by Nottridge street and all around main market are all produced around Obodoukwu road and Relief market

So good building the state economy. This will drive down the price of footwears in the state, provide employment and income for youths and expand revenue base and foreign exchange for the state when export starts. Good one.
