Then check your reg number again. You may have typed 'O' letter instead of '0' number or vice versa.

If your using my.unizik.edu.ng you will have an invalid Reg. No because the school is not using that particular website for this current year one student. To check your admission status use the new website (portal.edu.ng) when it opens input your Reg no then put it again on the confirm Reg no space then click login, when it opens click on check admission to view the status of your admission.

Dear Prospective Candidates, my name is Dr Awaka, Director for Admission UNIZIK. It is no longer news that the University has released the much awaited Admission List for the 2016/2017 academic session. I want to congratulate those who made it so far and to inform those who are not lucky yet that it is well.

Please kindly note the following below;

1. The only factor that can guarantee your admission
is satisfying the Federal Government admission
requirements for Merit, Catchment and citizenship of
education disadvantaged states.
2. Not all professors, lecturers or admission staff is
empowered to give you admission. If you give money
to just anybody for such purpose, you did so at your own risk and you are on your own.
3. Many candidates denied themselves admission the
day they registered their UTME. The choice of
institution, course and subject combination you
made that day is the prime factor that determines
your admission.
4. In case you fall among the unlucky ones this year,
next year prefer only the institutions and courses
that your brain capacity can be friendly with. If you
know that you can't made high scores both in UTME
and Post-UTME, there is no need to prefer federal
universities and highly competitive courses.
5. If you are from education advantaged states such
as Anambra, Imo, Lagos, Ogun, and Oyo, kindly note
that if you must be admitted, you must perform far
better than candidates of other states even if you
prefered a university located in your home state.
Therefore, extra effort and performance is expected
from you.

6. Finally, candidates who have not been admitted yet result should contact the office of the Director for Admission for possible alternative and advice.
