BIAFRA: X-RAYING THE NEW CHARGES BROUGHT AGAINST NNAMDI KANU BY MUHAMMADU BUHARI: A DANCE OF SHAME~IPOB
November 8, 2016

Press Release

PRELUDE: The Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) having reviewed all the Laws of the Federation of Nigeria and the Constitution of Nigeria hereby categorically make the following irrefutable assertions:

1) There is no place in any of the existing laws of Nigeria and the Constitution where the name or title or phrase ”Department of State Services (DSS)” can be found. Therefore, DSS is both illegal and unconstitutional.

2) There is no place in any of the existing laws of Nigeria and the Constitution where the terminology or phrase ”South-East zone” and ”South-South zone” can be found. Therefore, the terminology or phrase ”South-East zone” and ”South-South zone” are both illegal and unconstitutional.

3) Count One and Count Two of the new charges are invalid and must be thrown out because there is no such Law as “Criminal Code Act CAP. C38 Laws of the Federation of Nigeria, 2014” and there is no Law known as “Criminal Code Act CAP. C38 Laws of the Federation of Nigeria, 2000”

X-RAYING THE NEW CHARGES:

The Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) carried out a forensic analysis of the trumped-up charges brought against Mazi Nnamdi Kanu and exposed the nullity and futility of the exercise which has many gaping holes. After studying our well-researched deconstruction of the frivolous charges, Muhammadu Buhari has now brought new charges and subsequently increased the charges against Nnamdi Kanu from three (3) to six (6). In our tradition, we are here to deconstruct and destroy these weak and error-laden charges.

CHARGE #1

“Conspiracy to commit a treasonable felony, contrary to section 516 of the Criminal Code Act Cap. C38 Laws of the Federation of Nigeria, 2014 and punishable under the same section of the Act.”

PARTICULARS OF OFFENCE

That you Nnamdi Kanu, ‘M’, Onwudiwe Chidiebere ‘M’ Banjamin Madubugwu, ‘M’, David Nwawuisi, ‘M’ and others now at large on diverse dates in 2014 and 2015 in Nigeria and London, United Kingdom, did conspire amongst yourselves to broadcast on Radio Biafra monitored in Enugu and other areas within the jurisdiction of this Honourable Court, preparations being made by you and others at large, for states in the South-East and South-South zones and other communities in Kogi and Benue States to secede from the Federal Republic of Nigeria with a view to constituting same into a Republic of Biafra and you thereby committed an offence punishable under Section 516 of the Criminal Code Act, CAP. C38 Laws of the Federation of Nigeria, 2000”

IPOB Comments on Charge #1:

Buhari has found out that it is unheard of in law that only one person will be charged for treasonable felony, hence he has now incorporated three more people to get out of the tight corner to which he found himself. We want to remind that entire humanity that each time the illegal and unconstitutional DSS wants to lose the case against Nnamdi Kanu they will introduce a new defendant. Recall that on the 18th of October Nnamdi Kanu was arraigned alone despite the fact that David Nwawuisi was already in jail and held without trial since July 2015. When their frivolous charges of criminal intimidation collapsed at the Magistrates Court, they quickly charged Mazi Nnamdi Kanu with terrorism before the sagacious Justice A. F. A. Ademola and that too was dismissed. Now that they are faced with the option of releasing Mazi Nnamdi Kanu, they have introduced Benjamin Madubugwu and David Nwawuisi as well as Chidiebere Onwudiwe and charged all with Conspiracy to commit

Treasonable Felony. These new set of charges is the fourth alteration of charges that Mazi Nnamdi Kanu has encountered.
Also in this charge, it is not clear on who was where regarding the accused persons and the locations mentioned. In addition, the use of the term “others now at large” renders the charge a mere conjecture or guesswork because Buhari is expected to know those being accused by name. Using the term “others now at large” is akin to operating a blank cheque and as we observed in our previous forensic analysis. These “others now at large” could be Barack Obama, David Cameron, Theresa May, Bill Clinton, Prof. Osibanjo, Atiku Abubakar, Justice Binta Nyako, Mamman Daura, and even Aisha Buhari.

We also note that there is no specificity in date of commission of the crime and this renders the charge baseless. We posit that this time around, Buhari has made the charges more dismissive by using the term “diverse dates in 2014 and 2015”. To make his case arguably, Buhari must specify the date or dates of the commission of the crime. In the prelude, we have already mentioned that the term “South-East” and South-South” are illegal and unconstitutional.
Finally, we want to inform Buhari that the law he cited in “Particulars of Offence” is in conflict with the law cited in the “Charge.”. This alone renders this charge invalid.

CHARGE #2

“Treasonable felony, contrary to Section 41 (c) of the Criminal Code Act Cap. C38 Laws of the Federation of Nigeria, 2014 and punishable under the same section of the Act.“

PARTICULARS OF OFFENCE

“That you Nnamdi Kanu ‘M‘ being the leader of Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) on diverse dates in 2014 and 2015 in London, United Kingdom, did broadcast on Radio Biafra monitored in Enugu and other areas within the jusrisdcition of the is Honourable Court, preparations being made by you and others now at large, for states in the South-East and South-South zones and other communities in Kogi and Benue States to secede from the Federal Republic of Nigeria with a view to constituting same into a Republicof Biafra and you committed an offence punishable under Section 41(c) of the Criminal Code Act, CAP. C38 Laws of the Federation of Nigeria 2004.

IPOB Comments on Charge #2:

Buhari has failed here to be specific on actual dates of commission of the crime of treasonable felony by using the term “diverse dates in 2014 and 2015“, which renders the accusation as lacking in specificity and typical of conjectures and beer-parlour guess-work. We want Buhari to tell the world if broadcasting in London makes the broadcast under the jurisdiction of the Abuja Court or is it being monitored in Enugu that makes a broadcast that was made in London now within the jurisdiction of Abuja Court. Again we ask Buhari, who are these “others now at large“? How can you use the term “others now at large“ in a high-profile case such as treasonable felony without identifying the specific individuals involved thereby making it unbelievable and giving rooms for significant margins of error? Under the excuse of “others now at large“, many people can be wrongly termed as those who allegedly worked with Mazi Nnamdi Kanu. It is possible that Yusuf Buhari, Aminah Buhari, Zarah Buhari, and Ibrahim Babangida are among these “others now at large“.

Just as noted in the prelude, the illegality and unconstitutionality of South-East and South-South has already been established. Buhari is economical in words and should tell the world what “preparations” that are being made by Nnamdi Kanu and these “others now at large“ because the charge is not explanatory enough.
We want to remind Buhari that exercising the rights to self-determination is not equivalent to levying war against Nigeria. Broadcasting from London is not equivalent to levying war against Nigeria. It must be recalled that Buhari sponsored Radio Chanji in Northern part of Nigeria during the last Presidential Election in which he promised that he would make blood of Nigerians to flow on the streets if he loses the election.

CHARGE #3

“Managing an unlawful society, punishable under Section 63 of the Criminal Code Act, CAP. C38, Laws of the Federation of Nigeria, 2004.“

PARTICULARS OF OFFENCE

“That you Nnamdi Kanu, ‘M‘, Onwudiwe Chidiebere ‘M‘ and others at large, on or about the year 2012 at London, United Kingdom and South East as well as South South parts of Nigeria within the Jurisdiction of this Honourable Court managed an unlawful society, to wit: the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), pursuant to your secessionist agenda, with intent to bringing into being, a Republic of Biafra out of the Federal Republic of Nigeria and you thereby committed an offence contrary to Section 63 of the Criminal Code Act, Cap. C38 Laws of the Federation of Nigeria, 2004.“

IPOB Comments on Charge #3:

Is Buhari aware that IPOB is duly registered in the United Kingdom? If IPOB is truly registered in the United Kingdom, then what makes it an unlawful society? So Buhari is telling the world that Biafrans under the aegis of IPOB exerting their rights to self-determination as enshrined in the various declarations of the United Nations and the African Union is constituting an unlawful society? We can also extrapolate that Buhari has committed the same crime because on the 29th of September 205, Buhari made the following statement at the United General Assembly in New York: “The international community has come to pin its hopes on resolving the Palestinian issue through the two – states solution which recognises the legitimate right of each state to exist in peace and security. The world has no more excuses or reasons to delay the implementation of the long list of Security Council resolutions on this question. Neither do we have the moral right to deny any people their freedom or condemn them indefinitely to occupation and blockade.“
Re: Buhari's Dance Of Shame, What A Zoo Of A Country! by teufelein(f): 5:57pm On Nov 08, 2016
Section-62(2) of CAP C38 L.F. N. 2004 specified conditions under which an organization can be deemed unlawful society, and none of the conditions is against the rights of Indigenous People to self-determination.
We want to remind Buhari that Biafrans and IPOB exist in every nook and cranny of Nigeria and outside Nigeria. Therefore, it is an insult for Buhari to state that IPOB is managed only in London and in the illegal and unconstitutional South East and South South of Nigeria. We reiterate to Buhari that the right to self-determination is inalienable and irreducible and NOT a secessionist agenda. Buhari should know that inclusion of the term “others now at large“ makes this charge unsustainable and nothing but a mere guess-work because all accused persons must be known and identified and not just referred to as “others now at large“.

CHARGE #4

“Publication of defamatory matter, punishable under Section 375 of the Criminal Cod Act, Cap. C38, Laws of the Federation of Nigeria, 2004”

PARTICULARS OF OFFENCE

“That you, Nnamdi Kanu, on or about the 28th April, 2015 in London, United Kingdom did broadcast on Radio Biafra monitored in Enugu, Enugu State and other parts of Nigeria within the jurisdiction of this Honourable Court, referred to Major General Muhammadu Buhari, GCON President and Commander in Chief of the Armed Forces of the Federal Republic of Nigeria as a paedophile, a terrorist, and idiot and an embodiment of evil knowing same to be false and you thereby committed an offence contrary to Section 375 of the Criminal Code Act, Cap C38 Laws of the Federation of Nigeria, 2004.”

IPOB Comments on Charge #4:

This charge should be dismissed immediately for the following reasons:
1) As at 28th of April, 2015, Retired Major General Muhammadu Buhari was not the President and Commander in Chief of the Armed Forces of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Hence the title and the position ascribed to him was wrong and nullify the charge. If Buhar feels defamed by the alleged defamatory publications, he should sue Nnamdi Kanu in his private capacity because he was a private citizen as at April 28th, 2015.

2) On March 23rd 2015, an online newspaper called “thebreakingtimes” published an article in which it quoted Mrs Sarah Obozuwa, Founder of the Edo Women for Change (EWC), as saying that Aisha Buhari is a victim of childhood rape. Mrs Obozuwa asserted that Buhari (at 47 years of age) had sex with Aisha when she was just nine years old. This statement was made more than one month before the alleged comments of Mazi Nnamdi Kanu and there has never been any denial or rebuttal from Buhari and Aisha.

3) On March 15, 2015, Sheikh Sani Haliru, a founding member of the dreaded jama’aful Ahlul sunna wal Liddawati wal Jihad also referred to as the Boko Haram, publicly confessed that Muhammadu Buhari is the founding father of Boko Haram and this was reported in “Naijaonppint.com” online newspaper. Again, Buhari did not refute this accusation.

4) Buhari has been involved in several incidences of inciting violence duraing and after elections. Currently, there is a case of against Buhari in The Hague for killing innocent Nigerians after he lost the 2011 elections. Therefore, it is not out of place to conclude that by his acts of commission and omission he is evil and his governance/leadership style since December 31, 1983 can be correctly defined as idiotic.

CHARGE #5

“Improper importation of goods contrary to Section 47(1 (a) (i) of the Customs and Excise Management Act, Cap. C45 Laws of the Federation of Nigeria, 2004 and punishable under the same section of the Act.”

PARTICULARS OF OFFENCE

That you, Nnamdi Kanu, between the month of March and April, 2015, imported into Nigeira a Radio Transmitter known as TRAM 50L and kept it in your house at Ubulusiuzor in Ihiala Local Government Area (LGA) of Anambra State, Nigeria within the jurisdiction of this Honourable Court and you thereby committed an offence punishable under Section 47(1) (a) (i) of the Customs and Excise Management Act, Cap. C45 Laws of the Federation of Nigeria, 2004.

IPOB Comments on Charge #5:

First of all, Nnamdi Kanu does not have a house in Ubulusiuzor in Ihiala LGA, hence this nullifies the charge outright. Secondly, what is the proof that the duty on the said item was not paid for before it was removed from the wharf? Also, was this item forcefully or stealthily removed from the wharf considering the checks and balances and security networks supposedly existing in the wharf? On what day was this item removed without paying the requisite duty and who were the officers on duty on that day, especially those in charge of security and at the exit gates? When exactly did this crime take place because the commission of a crime must take place on a specific date and not the range of months being bandied about on the charge sheet?

CHARGE #6

“Improper importation of goods contrary to Section 47(2) (a) of the Customs and Excise Management Act, Cap. C45 Laws of the Federation of Nigeria, 2004 and punishable under the same section of the Act.”

PARTICULARS OF OFFENCE

“That you, Nnamdi Kanu, between the months of March and April, 2015 imported into Nigeria and kept in Ubulusiuzor in Ihiala Local Government Area of Anambra State within the jurisdiction of this Honourable Court, a Radio Transmitter known as TRAM 50L concealed in a container of used household items which you declared as used household items, and you thereby committed an offence contrary to Section 47 (2) (a) of the Customs and Excise Management Act, Cap. C45 Laws of the Federation of Nigeria, 2004 and punishable under the same section of the Act.”

IPOB Comments on Charge #6:

The first question here is; when was this discovery made? Who was the Customs Officer on duty who cleared this container? Was thorough inspection not part of the process required to clear goods from Nigerian Ports and who inspected this container? What is the proof that the said item was not properly cleared under a competent Customs Official? Was this offence part of the reason why Mazi Nnamdi Kanu was abducted by the illegal and unconstitutional DSS on October 14, 2015?

ECOWAS Court Disqualifies FG's Fresh Charges Against Nnamdi Kanu, Adjourns Final Judgment Till 2017

Tuesday 8, November 2016

ABUJA— The suit filed by the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra, Mazi Nnamdi Kanu against the Federal government of Nigeria, over his illegal detention and denial of bail and enforcement of his fundamental rights, scheduled to be heard today at the ECOWAS Community Court of Justice sitting in Abuja, commenced after a long waiting of the Federal government’s legal representatives which made the court switch to another case while waiting for their arrival as it gave the assurance of proceeding to hear the suit regardless of whatever happens.

At exactly 12pm, after hearing of the first case, the suit lodged against the Nigerian government was called up for hearing.

The FG defence counsel filed an additional case charges against the IPOB leader, but the three-panel of presiding judges, led by Justice Friday Nwoke, blasted the government's defence team saying, “this is not the rule of law.” The judges, there after called upon Kanu’s legal representative led by Barrister Ifeanyi Ejiofor to present their case while ignoring the FG's team.

Kanu's legal counsel, Barrister Ejiofor, objected the Federal government's application in filing fresh additional charges on the grounds that the original charges has not been settled and disposed off.
Ejiofor narrated to the panel of judges, how the Nigerian government have been delaying the his client's trial by the introduction of judicial gimmicks to keep Kanu in unlawful detention, adding that that is what they came to achieve today in court by the addition of fresh charges against his client.
When called upon for his defence, the FG's counsel delayed for some minutes before insisting that fresh charges needed to be included in the case.

The ECOWAS court once again reiterated that his prayer for fresh charges did not have grounds in the existing constitutional framework.

On Barrister Ejiofor’s further objection, the regional court told him to note all the errors and present it after the FG's legal representative must have been through with his submissions.

They appears to be a moment of drama and mocking of the Federal government's defense team when the ECOWAS judges asked them to explain the rationale behind their absence at the last court sitting of October 5th, but they still could not give a valid reason or excuse which left the court attendees and the entire courtroom laughing out loud as the judges again strongly blasted the government's legal representatives describing their submission as a “silly excuse.”

Bereft of any further issues to present to the court, the FG defence counsels, all seated down in shame as speechlessness enveloped them.

The Nigerian government defence counsel strongly wanted the additional charges to be hurriedly added this same day hearing is held, they tried forcing the new charges’ files at the court when the court has not given his final ruling.
However, Ejiofor stood up and tabled a good explanation on how the regional court works and why it should remain strong to stand firm for justice which they have been known for years. He also narrated to the court how the Nigerian government refused to release Nnamdi Kanu unconditionally as against the judicial rulings of previous judges, adding that this shows a clear disobedience to the rule of law.

The Court subsequently submitted to adjourn the case for it's final judgment on a later date but this was vehemently opposed by Barrister Ejiofor who wanted the court to pronounce its ruling immediately.

The presiding judge, Justice Nwoke held that they needed to adjourn its ruling to a later date, as they have other issues to look at and investigate before making its final pronouncement.
Consequently, the date for the final judgment was fixed to hold next year's February 9 for their judicial pronouncement.

Sorry I just read it now. This Ipod yoots. DSS is illegal. Then who should arrest Kanu because he's case is a criminal case. And under the classification of Laws criminal cases are under public law. And according to the 1999 constitution section 214 the police is not a member of the armed forces. So if not the DSS who should, And under the power enshrined in the constitution the president has the power at any given time to organise any armed force for the federation. If u argue I quote it for u. I know IPOD yoot will not be happy seeing me here.

BUHARI GET READY FOR WAR, OR RELEASE NNAMDI KANU AND OTHER – NIGER DELTA AVENGERS.

NIGER DELTA AVENGERS THREATENS BUHARI – BUHARI YOU HAVEN'T SEEN ANYTHING, GET READY FOR WAR IF YOU DON’T RELEASE NNAMDI KANU AND OTHERS

Niger Delta militants on Saturday threatened ‘war’ while dissociating themselves from the meeting elders from the oil-rich region had with President Muhammadu Buhari in Abuja, last Tuesday.
Apart from distancing themselves from the meeting, they warned the Federal Government not to rejoice yet over the recent rise in oil production in the country, threatening that a series of attacks await oil facilities in the region in the days ahead.
The militants also asked the Federal Government to drop the charges against Government Ekpemupolo, also known as Tompolo, and other leaders from the region.

The Niger Delta Greenland Justice Mandate, which is the only militant group that has refused to key into the ceasefire with the government, also claimed responsibility for Wednesday’s bombing of the Trans-Forcados Crude Export pipelines near Batan community in the Warri South-West Council Area of Delta State.

The Minister of State for Petroleum, Dr. Ibe Kachikwu, had on Tuesday said Nigeria’s oil production had recently risen to normal after a sharp drop earlier this year due to renewed militant attacks on oil and gas facilities in the region.
In a statement issued on Saturday by its spokesperson, Aldo Agbalaja, the militant group accused President Muhammadu Buhari’s government of plotting to wage war against the people of the Niger Delta region.

“As a matter of fact, what the Avengers did to the oil industry will be nothing compared to the grand plan already set by our central command. We shall bring Nigeria’s daily output quota to below 500,000 barrels. Just be ready for the approaching tsunami.
“The multinational oil companies, we know you are recalcitrant and will always come to test wills, we hope you will continue in this tradition so there will always be reason to let the world know that ‘you don’t contest the corners of a house with the owner of the house.’
“The destruction of the Trans-Forcados Pipeline is just a warning. We warned against the restarting of the facility, but the daring companies won’t listen. That shadow operation that brought the TFP down was only meant to let these companies know that we aren’t kidding with them; when we say stay down, you stay down, and it’s in your best interest.”
The militant group described last Tuesday’s meeting between Buhari and stakeholders, including traditional rulers from the region as a humiliation of the people of the Niger Delta.

“The humiliation that came with the meeting of the elders with President Muhammadu Buhari did not come to the NDGJM as a surprise. We expected it because we know even the government knows the character and intent of the man and most of those he led to the meeting.
“The only painful part is the fact that the humiliation is stamped on the collective image of our people. However, we want to dare President

Buhari and his administration to attempt or fully carry out his military action against our people and see the response that will follow.
“We want to say here, without mincing words, that we are aware of his intentions. We heard loud and clear his hostile message, we understand his message and the NDGJM is saying we are ready for him. We know he has reportedly threatened war on our people; we had been calm enough not to respond to the threats, but at this point, we believe it is time for us to come out to say to him ‘enough is enough.’

“If it is war, bring it on, we are no cowards, just be sure you can sustain the consequences because this is not going to be another vanquished ‘Biafran Uprising’. Niger Deltans are nobody’s slaves; we shall fight until there’s nothing left to defend.”
Similarly, leaders of the Niger Delta Peoples Democratic Front, Ultimate Warriors of Niger Delta, and other major players in the Niger Delta Avengers, who spoke with SUNDAY PUNCH on Saturday, said they were not a party to the 16-point demand presented by their leaders to Buhari.

The leader of the NDPDF, simply identified as General Playboy, faulted the stakeholders’ meeting with Buhari, describing it as a platform for them (leaders) to expose their selfish interests.
He expressed surprise that the 16-point agenda submitted by the Niger Delta stakeholders to the Federal Government did not address the issues of Tompolo who was declared wanted by the FG.
He said, “The stakeholders are talking about negotiation. They are talking about $10bn for Niger Delta people; they (stakeholders) are thinking about oil blocs that will be released to Niger Delta people and how they will share it among themselves. That is the only thing they are thinking of.

“They have refused to talk about the fact that there is a matter against Tompolo that should be dropped. None of the stakeholders is thinking about others; they are only thinking of themselves. But it will not work as far as I am concerned except President Buhari comes down here to know the problem of the Niger Delta. That is when Nigeria will have peace. If not, there will be no peace. We are not interested in what the stakeholders went to do in Abuja.’’

The militant leader stated that a situation where ex-agitators like Mujaheed Asari-Dokubo, Boyloaf and Soboma Jackrich (Egberipapa) were not part of the stakeholders’ meeting, was an indication that government was not ready for peace.
“Any meeting geared towards peace without protecting Tompolo’s interest will fail. Tompolo himself cannot come out to negotiate his freedom. As far as we are concerned, Tompolo’s case needs a political resolution, just like that of Henry Okah and Charles Okah.
“These are forces in the region that should not be undermined. We want the Federal Government as part of the dialogue process to get a legal framework to free Okah and let Tompolo have peace otherwise peace will continue to elude the region, and oil pipelines will be blown off continuously to protest their persecution.”
Apart from persons from the region who were facing prosecution, he also demanded the release of the Indigenous People of Biafra’s leader, Namdi Kanu.

Similarly, a member of the Niger Delta Avengers who spoke on condition of anonymity told SUNDAY PUNCHthat peace would continue to evade the oil-rich Niger Delta until the government stops the persecution of Tompolo and other leaders of the region.
He said, “All the politically motivated cases against Tompolo, Godsday Orubebe, Kingsley Kuku, Dr. Patrick Akpobolokemi, and Mrs. Patience Jonathan, should be dropped by the Federal Government, otherwise, agitation continues.”
Also, the spokesperson for the Ultimate Warriors of Niger Delta, Sibiri Taiowoh, vowed that his group would open a new chapter to the struggle.

He said, “We will return to the drawing board. And we know the Federal Government will fail (to meet the demands) because they are not sincere. We have lost faith in Buhari, so whether he will grant all the requests or not is irrelevant to us.’’
NDA warns Buhari against dealing with sycophants
The Niger Delta Avengers, in a statement on Saturday, warned President Buhari against dealing with “sycophants in his cabinet” if he really wants to achieve peace in the region.

The NDA Spokesperson, Brig.Gen Mudoch Agbinibo, in a statement made available to SUNDAY PUNCH, also challenged Buhari to visit the region instead of relying on information from his ministers and political friends from the region.
The group said, “You cannot treat the Niger Delta with disdain while you treat your brothers that are terrorists and kidnappers (Boko Haram) like kings and queens by committing the International Red Cross and Red Crescent Movement from Geneva to witness your transactions with them, before they released their hostages to you.”

“Let Muhammadu Buhari be advised to come down from his ethnic and religious fundamentalist iron horse to lead the Federal Government dialogue and negotiations team with neutral international observers and representatives of international oil companies.”
Meanwhile, the President of the Ijaw National Congress, Chief Boma Obuoforibo, has said Niger Delta stakeholders will not give the Federal Government an ultimatum or a timeframe to implement their demand for the development of the region.
Obuoforibo, who spoke in a telephone interview with SUNDAY PUNCH on Friday, said the stakeholders were optimistic that the President would not renege on his promise to alleviate the sufferings of Niger Delta people.

He said, “We are not going to be negative about the ability of the Federal Government to implement the demands because we have a positive mindset and we have never reached this length in the past. We are doing all this in good faith.”
Meanwhile, the Senior Special Assistant to the President on Media and Publicity, Garba Shehu, told one of our correspondents on Saturday that the release of Tompolo was not part of the demands of the Niger Delta leaders.
Shehu said, “I was present when the Niger Delta Elders met the President. At no point did anyone mention this (Tompolo) or any other name by way of a demand for release. ”

Sounds more like defences that wud be discussed by primary and secondary school students as a way to amuse themselves.
Serious charges av been preferred against Kanu and all MASSOB can do is come online and make childish play of it and a mockery of themselves.
Why don't they reserve this childish writings for the courts and see if Kanu wud av any chance of freedom, even from the most sympathetic of judges!

Complete legal analysis and the dismantling of the case against Nnamdi Kanu

The Federal Govt has no case. Some people dont seem to realise that IPOB leader, Barrister Emma Mmezu is a renouned legal practitioner in Britain.

See how they broke down the case and reduced it to nothing.

I love it when the said

2) There is no place in any of the existing laws of Nigeria and the Constitution where the terminology or phrase ”South-East zone” and ”South-South zone” can be found. Therefore, the terminology or phrase ”South-East zone” and ”South-South zone” are both illegal and unconstitutional.

Buhari can only delay Kanu, but even he will eventually bow to the supremacy of the law and release Kanu

Mr. Kanu, in the suit, is asking for a compensation of $800 million for alleged violation of his human rights and an order directing his unconditional release and release of his personal belongings.

In the suit, the plaintiff prayed the court to declare that his arrest and detention since October 14, 2015 by the defendant was in flagrant disobedience to several orders of courts of competent jurisdiction.

He also prayed the court to declare that his continued detention was a violation of the African Charter on Human and Peoples’ Rights, the Universal Declaration of Human Rights and the United Nations Charter of 1970.

I just wished they knew earlier that an ideology that is meant to stay will surely stand the test of time. Neither of all these cowards that gossip both on the internet and other media at the earlier stage of this movement believed it will surely get to this. Biafra was a word so heavy in their mouths to mention. Alas, the word Biafra is the most trending in the world as we speak.

Can you imagine them wailing and sniffing around and wondering how it has come to this stage in Nigeria. They (Nigerian government) and many of her confused citizens are overlooking the ongoing outcry and demands for the release of Nnamdi Kanu and all other illegally imprisoned peaceful Biafran. Sooner, the wave of the Biafran movement will cut across all nooks and crannies of the contraption called Nigeria that by then, it will be too late to fathom how such people (IPOB) through its leader; Nnamdi Kani could attain such a stride. By then, hays would neither be enough nor available to make as the sun had already gone to set.

Ideologies have reshaped the world from inception and Biafra's won't be an exception because there is no stopping us soon. Louis Althusser once opined that ''ideology.....is indispensable in any society if men are to be formed, transformed and equipped to respond to the demands of their conditions of existence.'' Either Nigeria and Nigerians like it or not, sooner, you will be compelled to talk, write, cry, discuss, pray for, support and above all love Biafra and Biafrans. Biafra has come to stay and must I remind you that, neither threats, incarcerations, abductions, maiming, lynching nor death can stop this new wave of change which is Biafra/IPOB going on in Nigeria?

Nnamdi Kanu and other Biafrans illegally incarcerated deserve their freedom. Regardless, a promise is sure and certain that whenever these law-abiding and fine Biafrans are finally released, Nigeria will never remain the same. The revolution is long overdue and here it is.

Lond live Biafra in our hearts, minds, and souls!!!
