I live in the UK and I've spent considerably amount of time in the states and know what racism mean not in theory but from first hand experience - Next time do not assume everyone on Nairaland lives in Nigeria and have no experience of what blacks go through, also no need for calling me ignorant, I only made a comment on the way I feel.

Now to the point, I experience racism as well ,mostly from white people that are not necessarily racist but have no idea of who I am, so therefore, they ask silly questions and make a wrong generalization, that's on the surface level and experience proper ones once in a while
