The 5th ZIK annual lecture is currently ongoing at the Auditorium of Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Awka with Top Political and Academic Personalities in Attendance.

The Annual event chaired this year by Ex Vice President Atiku Abubakar has featured speakers like: Raila Odinga (Ex Kenya Prime Minister), Chief Peter Obi (Ex Anambra Governor), Dr Nkem Okeke (Anambra State Deputy Governor), Prof. Joseph Ahaneku (UNIZIK Vice Chancellor and Others.

The great Zik of Africa never shied away from discussing issues germane to the progress of Nigeria. Atiku Abubakar is a politician in that mould. He may not be as cerebral as the Owelle of Onitsha, but he possesses the same progressive beliefs as the late Zik.

The organisers of this lecture did a great honour to the memory of Zik by having Atiku on the podium. He sure must be looking down from heaven smiling contentedly.
