the one i know of is gtbank. its 11% per annum. |

The interest on fixed deposits is usually negotiated. It depends on the amount and the bank and your negotiating skill. For example, bank A may offer you 11% on a certain amount while bank B may offer you 14% if the bank really needs liquidity. At the same time, a particular bank may offer you 12% on N5m and 15% on N50m, So it depends. You cannot withdraw during the period the money is fixed. If for any reason you have to, you will lose substantial amount for admin charges. As for interest, of course, you can ask them to put it in another account where you can withraw. |
