Mine is an Accounting blog. I cover all accounting courses from basic to professional. Students in tertiary institutions find it helpful. Also intending students for professional exams like ICAN ANAN etc, also benefit.
I also run tutorials on Accounting packages eg excel QuickBooks sage et al.

Good thread please! I'm a teacher and an instructor, BT funny enough, in religious aspects... Arabic language and Islamic studies, for years oooo!
There is nothing remotely funny in teaching Arabic language and Islamic studies. Do you know that Arabic language is the most widely spoken language in Africa, while Islam is the second largest religion in the world after Christianity? You should be proud of your profession and the privilege to shape young minds.

This is a long awaited thread, I'm in the education field as well,I look forward to learning a lot from this thread.
I have a few questions for the professional teachers and educators here,
Are there internationally recognized professional courses that can be taken here in Nigeria
to consolidate the regular degrees that are gotten from universities ?
What other courses, or educational requirements be required of migrant teachers, in countries like australia, canada and Usa and even uk?
What are the requirements for teachers who seek jobs in International primary and Secondary schools in Nigeria.

I don't really know about requirements for teachers outside this country but I do know about a professional body for teachers here in Nigeria called Teachers' Representative Council of Nigeria (TRCN). I am a member.

I'm a 400 level student of English Language Education, Lagos State University. I love everything about my profession and I hope to becoming a teacher of English some day. I would love to teach in public schools because students there do feel inferior to their counterparts in private schools. I feel the need to correct such ideology that those in private schools are well taught than those who school in government schools. I would love to provide my students a series of learning experiences in order to impart knowledge, skills, attitude etc with the ultimate aim of making them become productive members of the society.
