3,500 corps members to serve in Taraba
NATIONAL Youth Service Corps, NYSC, Taraba State management has affirmed that the state is fully prepared to host the 2016 Batch ‘B’ orientation course scheduled to begin on November 24 through December 14, at the Permanent Orientation Camp, Sibre, along Jalingo- Wukari road. The State coordinator of NYSC, Emmanuel Attah said registration of prospective corps members would commence November 24 and close November 26. While welcoming prospective corps members posted to the state, Mr Attah said that they would only be admitted into the orientation camp after signing an undertaking prohibiting them from breaking or deferring their national service within the service year under whatever guise. He urged prospective corps members to count themselves fortunate to be posted to the state, which he said was renowned for its exceptional hospitality and conducive environment, adding that the state was anxiously waiting to welcome them. The official opening/ swearing-in ceremony for the 2016 Batch ‘B’ orientation course is scheduled for Monday, November 28. Attah revealed that the ceremony was to be presided over by Governor Darius Dickson Ishaku while the Oath of Allegiance would be administered to the prospective corps members by the state chief judge. “Activities lined up at the orientation camp include cultural display of the state’s rich cultural heritage, lectures, sporting activities, skills acquisition and entrepreneurship development training, social activities, among others,” Attah said, urging the prospective corps members to participate fully in camp activities and adhere to the NYSC dress code as well as all camp regulations. A total of 3,500 prospective corps members and camp officials from a host of collaborating agencies are expected to participate in the orientation course. The state coordinator noted that adequate and impregnable security measures had been put in place to ensure a safe camp environment throughout the duration of the orientation curse. While thanking him for his unwavering support for the NYSC scheme in the state, the state coordinator made a passionate appeal to Governor Ishaku to extend his usual support towards the success of the orientation course in the state

Welcome otondos... Hmm. Being a corper can be fun and so annoying.. Welcoming you guys on board...

I camped in TaRaba, it's a very far place I mean very far, camp is located in sibre jalingo... TaRaba is very hot like other northern states, food is quite cheap, transportation and standard of living is okay.. Most of you will be posted to schools and local government except few...
Relocation was quite easy during my time just use security as excuse most peeps that used medicals weren't allowed to relocate back then. Don't let anybody deceive you concerning relocation it's quite easy and straight forward most of them are after your money and body (girls)... The soldiers are quite friendly and accommodating depending on the kinda friendship you make with them,
THE sharp guys will always find their way around most activities like I did back then cos it was really stressful... For more tips you can quote me and ask, will be willing to help if I can....

Eventually I relocated to Akwa ibom where I served..
Otondos welcome once again... If corper marry corper them go born............
