It's not entirely out of character for Buba Galadima to predict doom for President Muhammadu Buhari. Galadima is relapsing from a political ailment he was cured by the victory of President Buhari in the APC presidential primaries where (the novice they thought he was) he trashed veteran political gurus including the candidate of Galadima. From accusing then 'Gen. Buhari' of reneging from his promise never to contest elections to accusing him of highhandedness, there wasn't a single trick in the book spared by Galadima to create a more containable situation for his candidate to clinch the APC ticket. He was trashed! Now that 2019 is in view and as ambitions die hard, it's another round of demagoguery.

To characters like Buba Galadima 'well' is only well when it's well with them because their definition of 'well' is as interpretive as their idea of community which, in their warped minds begins and ends within the four walls of households. All the 'Buhari-is-going-to-be-a-loner-2019' balderdash would surreptitiously change to 'NO VACANCY IN THE VILLA 2019' at the first sign of an invitation to play the game with a ministerial (striker) boots. To these clowns, a government is never complete or functional unless they call the shots. Common! Nigeria just came out from the PDP ship to be deceived with phantom predictions of false storms ahead.

In any case, how many 'dooms' did Galadima prophesied for President Buhari none of which come to pass? Did he not prophesied that President Buhari's ambition would never see light of the day when he was identified as one of the liabilities of the ambition and promptly kicked out? In this 'crystal glass business' I have more respect for T. B. Joshua than Galadima. At least, Joshua had the decency to explain that his prophesy for a Clinton win was predicated on popular votes not the electoral collage abracadabra that's as confusing as Trump's meteoric rise from political novice to the President of the most powerful democracy.

Even when Joshua went an extra mile to prophesied a bumpy White House/Capitol Hill relationship under Clinton, I will still give him more marks than Galadima who left us without any explanation as to how Buhari floored his 'primary-school-renovating-contract-awarding' candidate with 3430 to 974 votes in the APC primary and went further to floor a sitting President with a healthy margin that, even with the 'DO OR DIE' default PDP settings, the clearly desperate Jonathan was left with no opinion than to concede and congratulate Buhari even before official declaration of results. Of course, we have to thank Laurent Gbagbo for putting Jonathan in the right frame of mind to weigh his options and respond appropriately.

Futuristically, what should fairly be the foreseeable situation in 2019 to support Galadima's theory of a 'lone Buhari'? If Galadima is consumed by ambition and revenge to see credible CHANGE unfolding as promised by President Buhari, Nigerians are neither under spell nor obligation to suffer low brain functionality of people suffering such afflictions. Nigerians are grateful that today, less than 2 years in office they could go to mosques and churches without fear of being blown to pieces with bombs and IEDs - something hitherto, assumed to be impossible considering the billions of dollars and lives wasted for 5 years yet, with no solution in sight.

Why shouldn't Nigerians stick with President Buhari 2019 when in 2016 he could provide 200,000 job opportunities (with more to come) for free for young Nigerians across 36 states/774 LGs without a single drop of blood wasted where in just 2014, 675,675 graduate applicants were defrauded of about N675,675,000, having been made to pay N1000 each as processing fees for 5,000 job opening in a scandalous and globally condemned scheme that left over 20 promising young men and women dead from stampede at mischievously designated recruitment centers. Shouldn't Galadima allow these youth who are beginning to take their rightful position under President Buhari speak for themselves?

Only reversed thinking brains will refuse to stick with President Buhari 2019. But to the jaundiced and the naive, President Buhari has left no one in doubt about his high quality as a military General who could improvise his war skills to democratically salvage a sinking nation bequeathed to him by a class of pseudo-democrats. Why shouldn't voters stick with him? Is it an offense in Nigeria's scriptures of democracy to stop public funds pilferage as President Buhari ingeniously did with the courageous Treasury Single Account (TSA), or is it a crime in Nigeria's version of democracy to retrieve stolen public funds from unpatriotic elements and apply same for social services beneficial to the common man while keeping shady characters away from institutions of power to avoid abusing public trust. Nigerians are cured and they hate seeing Nigeria a toddler at 50 plus hence, a promising solution for growth like President Buhari would never be a loner on the journey to a nation of his dream.

Nigerians went through hell to arrive at 'Buhari'. They dared unimaginable odds to beat a well organized conspiracy by Nigeria's conscienceless pseudo-democrats to make 'Buhari' happen and would not abandon him just because Galadima's crystal glass gave him a wrong reading.

Sure, you can take a pig out of a gutter but can't take the gutter out of a pig. Still, must Galadima go outside normal 'gutterness' just to remain relevant by making periodic 'notice me' noises as is common with 'Abuja politicians' who have lost touch with reality along with any claim to relevancy hence, left with no option but to create a fantasy world of their own to live their dreams. Thankfully from time immemorial dreams remain just DREAMS! Far as I'm concerned, Galadima is exercising his freedom to dream as he wish. It's not for me to stop him burning brain fuel in sleep mode. Some may see his recent tantrums as 'political mating call'. Well, it's the season. They may also be right.
