Its an area calculation thing. Plots vary in size deoending on the area u r in. An average residential plot is 18m x 30m, of which the area is gotten by multiplying 18 by 30 = 540sqm.

This plot is not a regular rectangle so u cant compute the area that simply. So u can get its area by dividing the land into two triangles which u can compute their individual areas and then add up. Divide the result u get by 540sqm. What u get becomes the numbee of plots in this land.

If u have AutoCad software in ur laptop its a lot easier cos it has a tool that can compute the area of a land no matter how irregular the shape.

convert the square meters into feets. in my state a plot is 100feet by 50feet. from there you can get how many plots on the survey plan.

Simply divide the total sqms by 648 (that is a standard 60 by 120) if its standard plot u want to have.....

Take your tee square place it at the end of the straight line, divide by 3.
From the diagram, using a compass check the length of the horizontal line and circle it.
The angle of inclination is dipping inwards to the center, check 4 error due to parallax.
From my estimate, 100000 plots.

OP, the area of the piece of land is not clear enough. just divide it by 465, any thing you get is the number of plots

Wrong. Nothing like average. In fact even if we are to go by Nigerian standard, then it would have been 648sqm, based on what Nigerians tag 60*120

However, plots are area specific. In lekki phase 1, plots are measured by the government as either 900sqm or 1000sqm.

In old yaba and surulere, Government layout was set at 500 to 550sqm

In some private schemes of site and service, plots are layed out as 600sqm.

VGC isn't 648sqm

Banana Island isn't 648sqm either.

Youpl first determine, how plots are layed out in that area before you advice

The total area of the survey plan is 2388.994m. Divide that area by the area of 1 plot say (15m*30m i.e 450m2)

That gives you 5.31 plots.

From the Area given 2388.944/669.78=3.567 approximately 4plot.

669.78 is derived from 18.3*36.6 which is also equivalent to 60ft by 120ft.
