92 percent

I doubt if u really understand grading system in percentage. 4.0 to 4.49 are between 60% - 69%. Only 4.50 and above are graded 70%. I am speaking from experience. U can make ur findings.
My advice to everyone here is that leave ur final CGPA d way it appears on ur transcript, d key to d grading is stated at d end of d trancript to guide d users abroad. Best of luck to everyone.

Please house, kindly help with these few clarity on this scholarship .

As PG applicant, do I need to attach my Olevel certificate and syllabus? if YES, how will I convert my grade to percentage and how will I get Olevel's syllabus?

On the first of the application form, I can't find ICCR scholarship for foreign national, the closest on the list is "scholarships for students from Africa countries (MEA)"

Finally, are we to do photostat copy of our recommendation letter and medical fitness certificate for each application form.

I await a response. Thanks!

Wow!! This thread is growing more than expected. This scholarship will be competitive this year unlike the previous year where more than 90 % of those that attended the interview at Indian Embassy, Abuja got the scholarship. Nigeria has just 20 slots among the 900 scholarships to be awarded. I believe that many people on this thread will get it.

emmahoney...
PhD applicant.

the application for ug nd pg is similar, kuchikau1 and Daboywizzy did put me through. Whats the question?
Re: 2017/2018 Indian Government (ICCR) Scholarship For 900 African Students by AlMuflihah(f): 6:23pm On Jan 11, 2017
At around 2:31pm today, I submitted my application as the 110th received application at the Indian embassy Abuja. With the application closing on Friday, let's assume the today received application would be around 150.
If the Lagos embassy (although I'm not sure it was authorised to receive the iccr applications) receives similar number, that would bring the total candidate from Nigeria to 300.
The quota Nigeria received last year from the 900 total was 20 slots, it can thus be inferred that about 1 in every 15 applications would receive the scholarship meaning about 7% of the total applicants.
This positions ICCR as one of the scholarships with the best odds. So keep your fingers crossed guys and let's be prayerful as we await the results.

Best of Luck to all.
Msc Applicant.

Will the list of selected applications be released by the embassy? How exactly will one know if his/her application has been selected for processing?
Re: 2017/2018 Indian Government (ICCR) Scholarship For 900 African Students by emmahoney(m): 6:50pm On Jan 15, 2017
Applicants will be contacted via email for interview at Indian Embassy (at appropriate time) . The selected candidates will be notified of being chosen for the scholarship aftermath via email as well. At least my friend won it last year for his PhD programme.
