It is one of the most critical ways that we can influence governmental decision-making, it is a right we all have to take part in the government of our state and gain equal access to public service. The whole essence of this being to achieve the will of the people becoming the basis of authority of government. This being hinged on the fact that ‘our vote is our future and that of our children’ In recent times, it can be seen that the Nigerian citizens Right to vote has been greatly recognized and has made a great impact on our government. We can proudly say that our votes now matter in government. Always remember that when you go to vote, you need to know which candidate and what party you want to vote for.
