High-profile Govt Officials Run Away From Assets Verification, CCB Laments by Softorgasm(m): 8:00am On Dec 17, 2016
The Code of Conduct Bureau, CCB, has bemoaned refusal by high-profile public officers to surrender to assets verification exercise.
It decried that though most of the public officers duly declared their assets as required by law, they however shy away from the second step which involves verification of such declared assets.
The Bureau made the disclosure while debunking a media report in which its Chairman, Mr. Sam Saba, who was quoted as ordering some Ministers, Governors, Service Chiefs and top government officials to declare their assets.
In a statement by the Head of Press Unit at the CCB,Mr. Mohammed Idris, the Bureau, maintained that no order was issued against the afore mentioned category of public officials.

Buhari was feeling like a super man when he was about to take power.

Now he has seen that Nigeria's case is more than military experience can solve.

Very sad.

To say, we waited that long and this risk the best team Buhari can come up with is very sad for the nation.

I have said it before, you can hardly find a sane politician and without them life will be miserable for you as the President because of the network of cabals they control.

Sahara Reporters reported a long time ago how war was waged against Magu. It appeared true this week by Senate's rejection

We needs sanity in all our endeavours. How can we develop with this kind of behavior.
Our journalists should be more pro active in getting the identities of these criminals and reporting it not going to them for kickbacks.
And most importantly we the populace we must keep tribe, religion or selfish interest and come out for demonstration on such individual and keep at it until such person was kicked out. We can do it if we put our mind to it without violence remember the 2012 fuel subsidy demonstration, 2004 university demonstration against tuition fee increase and also the conduct of the 2015 election.
No violence but insist the right thing was done.and we the masses would really be the real movers of government or organisation decisions because we are the people.

Why won't they run when Buhari failed to publicly declare his assets as pledged.

Nigeria is almost in a state of anarchy. The first citizen doesn't obey the laws of the land and you expect other citizens to do so, nonsense.

If after 2015, we are still complaining about the inability of politicians of all cadre to declare their assets, then we are still a long way to go. And to think that PMB made that promise to declare and compel his ministers to declare their assets makes it worse.
The law has not assumed its rule in Nigeria, APC or PDP irrespective

The first integrity test for PMB was to publicly declare his assets as promised before the election but he failed.

They should stop disturbing us this type of news, they are insincere bunch of idiots.

There are many reports that are not made public. This is common practice. Now I don't know if this qualify to be characterised as need to know basis.

Since Magu is the one affected by this, he should be the one to demand for the report that's if he does not have it already. He should also be the one to deny the allegations levelled against him. As far as am concerned he has done none.
