This is one of the very reason that we have to declare a state of emergency on sex-education. As a nation we are still preaching abstinence when the battle field and mode of fighting as changed.

At that age hormones are raging and teen have enough time on their hands without supervision, little self control and no one to guild them, what do one expect?

I think we should start teaching our young ones about sexuality as early as possible, what to expect, what to do and what not to do.

We should also stop seeing sex as a bad thing and stop judging and condemning; not passing judgment and condemnation would encourage the young ones to talk to adults about what they feel and what exactly is going on in their lives without fear of condemnation and 'promise' of eternal condemnation.

How are we going to help our young ones if they cant feel safe to tell us what they are going through? How are you going to help someone if you don't now that they have a problem?
