I hate albums. angry
I cant believe there are still some Nigerians who like to waste their precious time on albums where u only get to like 2 or 3 tracks from a 10-15-track album.
I derive musical enjoyment I deserve from selections

Re: Nigerian Album Of The Year: 2009 by matiltomd(f): 2:11am On Nov 21, 2009
Well,we've had cool albums in 2009 that aren't up there but all the same,to pick from the aforementioned,

i think Wande takes it no doubt,
Bracket? not really a fantastic album, with almost the same beat and rhythm all through, but they are quite lucky though.
DaGrin ain't bad though, U need to listen to Kondo (Magic Stick,Holla Holla,Pon Pon, and Thank God ft. Omawunmi)
Omawunmi, well I'm yet to listen to her album though the first single was quite cool
Terry G, very boring album,same beat and rhythm all through (far from creative) and a very ugly looking album sleeve.
Psquare, that album is really growing on me big time,(though with "stolen beats" here and there),I've got about 5 songs I'm crazy about on the album , maybe u should listen to Possibility ft. Tuface, that's HOTTTTT, smiley smiley

Listening to all the music which my be the first time of hearing them i put my vote for NO TIME BRACKET. If i were to vote for a 2nd place, it goes to the WANDEL COAL BUMPER TO BUMPER, though it potrays Nigerian way of show off.

@dammizz
God go punish you cuz you don already take your mouth talk sey na people like you wey dey make our Nigerian artists to suffer by buying pirated materials. How will you know anything about music when you patronize Alaba's bootlegged selections. It's only when you buy the album that you can really understand how good an artist is cuz it's only one or two popular songs that you will get on a mix cd.
FYI, I don't have any pirated copy of a naija artist.
Back to topic. The hottest song for I that happen to be a rap fan is Djinee's overkillin' remix. The album which happens to have the title 'The album' should have been put for nomination cuz it was really killing me. For now, my vote goes to Wande Coal's album M2M. Am quite sure that by 2010 when Mr. Incredible drops his second album, he will mos'def tear the airwaves and my speaker apart. Ciao
