in cross river central we called it catarrh beef. very mumu animal. when you touch it folds up. you can just pick up and off you go

One good thing about this animal is that it folds up when it sees a human. very sweet animal with lot of cartilage. it eats termites a lot. I know some people call it ANTEATER

it is a common animal especially in d middle belt of nigeria like kogi state. I've forgotten d local name. My uncles use to send d roasted ones to my dad while we were kids.

Really? I used to see this animal in some parts of Benin back in the days. I like the creature. It is a slow moving creature. I was thinking it is already extinct.
