A fight broke out between an Arik manager and passengers at the Lagos International airport yesterday because Arik had reportedly delayed their flights to Johannesburg South Africa for 3 days without notice.

Welcome to Nigeria where impunity is the order of the day, the passengers and the manager acted with impunity. How on earth would you delay my flight without giving me the reasons and apologising to me, people need to be empathic na.

I was at the scene . The shirt I wore contained the word ARIK written and I had to run for safety before them go say I be the assistant manager

Arik na Useless flight naa...infact Nigerian carriers are just not it all.. Will prefer to spend extra 50k to go with South African airways than waste my time with these ones...it's either they delay your flight or your baggages are missing on arrival.. useless

Lol, it really sucks working at Arik, one time they kept passengers waiting for over 15hrs past the flight time because they claimed they had no fuel. Boys took matters into their own hands and stormed their office, lol all their office workers took to their heels at such speed as if they've been trained to escape angry passengers, though one girl wasn't so lucky. Passengers barricaded lines to all flights both local and international, insisting no one leaves until we left. This was 4 years ago or so and I think I still have the video. When you take Arik airline, prepare your mind for all the worst things that can happen, its like the molue service of the skies.
