The GLO-CAF Awards 2016 took place last night at the International Conference Center Abuja, Riyad Mahrez was crowned the new African Football King.

While Nigeria’s Alex Iwobi won the Youth Player of The Year award, Asisat Oshola went home with the Women’s Player of the Year award and the CAF Platinum Award was presented to President Buhari.

This is no achievement for Nigeria cos the last time we won the CAF best player award was in 1999 (18 yrs ago). This shows that our football and administration is on the decline
