WHAT YOU DO TO SOMEONE YOU LOVE

Everywhere you go, love is the most wanted ... Even God told us that the greatest commandment is for us to LOVE HIM WITH ALL OUR HEART, SOUL AND MIND.

Below are 7 things you can do to someone you love.

1, YOU SPEND QUALITY TIME WITH THE PERSON.
Remember, it's not just time but quantity time. How quality is your Bible study, prayer and quiet time with God?

2, DO SOMETHING THE PERSON LOVES, EVEN WHEN IT'S DIFFICULT FOR YOU.
God loves souls ... love souls too and be a soul winner. God loves uprightness, holiness, righteousness and hates sin. Don't be at the opposite side.

3, EXPRESS YOUR FEELING TO THE PERSON, USING THE PERSON'S LOVE LANGUAGE.
God loves very very quality high praise and worship. No wonder, David is called "a man after the heart of God". God also loves souls so much, therefore, always pray for the revival of this generation.

4, TAKE A WALK TOGETHER WITH THE PERSON.
Has God called you to be an intercessor, missionary, usher, cleaner, evangelist, children teachers, junior pastor, etc. Pls do not envy the General Overseers. Serve God in that capacity and do not just do the work for God, but do it with him.

5, ALWAYS EXPRESS YOUR AFFECTION.
Many Christians are ashamed of carrying the Bible or dressing like a born again christian. Pls repent today and always express your love for everything about God.

6, UNEXPECTED GIFTS TO THE PERSON.
They say "love without giving is incomplete". But where do we see God to give to him? ... the Bible says "he who gives to the poor, lends to the Lord". The Lord Jesus Christ said in Matt 25, that at the last day HE will tell the righteous, "I was hungry and you gave me food, ... was in prison and you visited me, etc. But the righteous will be surprised. Howbeit, the Lord would tell him, "whatever you do to the least of my people, you did it to me.

7, Lastly, YOU OBEY WHO YOU LOVE.
According to the scrpture, "obedience is better than sacrifice". The Lord Jesus Christ says "go to everywhere in the world and preach the gospel, mark 15:16. ... "if you love me, keep my commandments," John 14:15.

IT'S NOT TIME TO REST

Simply put, it's wrong to rest at the wrong time. King David tried it, and the rest about this act is history. Resting at the wrong time first lead him to sexual lust, followed by adultery, evil conspiracy and finally, murder. The consequence of what David did then is why Israel is always at war till this day. The book of 1kings 13 recorded the story of a man of God whom God sent on a mission, and told him not to eat or drink in the land he sent him. But the man of God decided to rest under a tree on his way back home, and there met him an old prophet who deceived him into going back to eat in the strange land. At the end, the man of God was killed by a lion. What a pity. The old prophet wouldn't have met him if he continued the journey back home without resting.
Beloved, we are on a journey back home. Till you make heaven, pls don't rest from Church weekly activities, personal bible studying, personal evangelism, fasting, prayer, etc.

What i mean by leave, is departure from this earth. It could be through rapture or death. Since it's obvious that we all must collectively or individually leave some day. It's very important for us to maximize our obedience to the two greatest commandments below.

TODAY IS TOMORROW'S YESTERDAY.

Yesterday is your teacher, today is full of opportunities and when to practice what you've learnt from yesterday, while tomorrow is when you'll reap your reward, whether good or bad. Many who refused to go to school or learn some trade/skill yesterday, are not employed today and therefore will end up frustrated tomorrow. Yes we should always ... cause none of us knows exactly the day or hour he/she will die. For we Christians, according to the scriptures below, we must all appear before the judgement seat of Christ, and be judged by the Word of God.

WHEN WE GET TO HEAVEN.

Heaven is full of expectations and it's really going to be great when we get there. So, do your best and sacrifice all to make Heaven. The Bible says that eyes have not seen, nor ear heard, neither has it entered into the heart of man what God prepared for those that love him; 1cor. 2:9.

However, many think that they would inherit the earth, but the Lord is not in any way talking about this particular Earth we live in now.

Revelation 21:1
Then I saw a new heaven and a new earth, for the first heaven and the first earth had passed away, and the sea was no more.

They also think that Heaven is for a specific number of people. But thank the Lord Jesus Christ for what HE said in the scripture below.

Matthew 8:11-12
I tell you, many will come from east and west and recline at table with Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob in the kingdom of heaven, 12 while the sons of the kingdom will be thrown into the outer darkness. In that place there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth.”

PLEASE NOTE THAT THE NEW HEAVEN AND NEW EARTH WILL COME FROM THE KINGDOM OF HEAVEN. SO, DO YOUR BEST TO BE ONE OF THE MANY THAT'S GOING TO MAKE IT.

The first thing that's going to shock you when you get there, is the arcthectural capabilities of God. The scripture talks about the street of gold and home built with pearls, gold and other precious metals.

THERE'LL BE NO MORE PAINS, SORROWS, TEARS AND BLOOD.

He will wipe away every tear from their eyes, and death shall be no more, neither shall there be mourning, nor crying, nor pain anymore, for the former things have passed away.

THE BODY, SPIRIT AND SOUL.

1 Thessalonians 5:23
"Now may the God of peace himself sanctify you completely, and may your whole spirit and soul and body be kept blameless at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ”

Humans are unique tripeptide beings. I mean, you are a soul that has spirit and body. The body is the outermost part of you. Your soul is the one that sees through the eyes, and hears through the ears, of your body. Your characters, attitudes, wills, emotions and so, which are expressed through your body, ... come from your soul, which is the real you. While your spirit is the inner most part of you, where God can live when you are born again. The SPIRIT OF GOD lives in your spirit when you are really born again, and controls your soul which is you, finally you exbit the nature of God in your body through your characters, emotions, attitudes, etc.

However, as a bornagain believer, according to Galantians 5, the body and spirit are in battle for your soul. And which ever that wins, determines the eternal destination of your soul. Through your spirit, the Lord suggests to your soul, which is the real you, while your body does the same. Now, it's left for you to choose who to obey.

16 So I say, walk by the Spirit, and you will not gratify the desires of the flesh. 17 For the flesh desires what is contrary to the Spirit, and the Spirit what is contrary to the flesh. They are in conflict with each other, so that you are not to do whatever you want. 18 But if you are led by the Spirit, you are not under the law.

WE ALL MUST CONFIRM WHETHER HELLFIRE IS REALLY REAL OR NOT.

Now, it matters where you want to be and confirm this issue. Whether you want to be in God's kingdom or in hellfire itself to confirm it, is purely yours to decide. As for me, I want to confirm it from God's kingdom. Despite how much the Bible warned us, a lot of people still doubt the reality of this place. It's absolutely obvious that the dead who doubted when they were alive, have all confirmed ... and most of them did this in HELLFIRE itself. Likewise, we all must confirm it. But pls, may you not do yours in HELLFIRE.

Many do not take the issues of hellfire serious. This is due to how the old testament prophets handled it. For example, David just wrote below, ...

Psalm 9:17
The wicked shall be turned into hell, and all the nations that forget God.

Actually, all the old testament prophets are not to be blamed, cause none of them is part of the Trinity. That's why they didn't know much of what life looks like in Hellfire, so they merely called it hell and didn't elaborate much on it. Hence many people assume that it's merely the land of the dead. However, when the Lord Jesus Christ, who is part of the Trinity and the creator of all, walked on Earth, HE did a thorough elaboration on what eternity in hellfire looks like.

BELOW, THE LORD MADE IT CLEAR TO ALL AND SUNDRY THAT HELL IS NOT JUST THE LAND OF THE DEAD BUT A PLACE WHERE THE SOULS OF DEAD SINNERS ARE TORMENTED WITH FIRE AND THIRST.

Luke 16:23-24 KJV
And in hell he lift up his eyes, being in torments, and seeth Abraham afar off, and Lazarus in his bosom.
24 And he cried and said, Father Abraham, have mercy on me, and send Lazarus, that he may dip the tip of his finger in water, and cool my tongue; for I am tormented in this flame.

... A PLACE WHERE WORMS BITE THE SOULS OF DEAD SINNERS AND WHERE THE FIRE THAT BURNS THEM DOESN'T GO OFF.

... PLACE OF DARKNESS AND GNASHING OF TEETH.

Luke 9:59-62

THE LORD SAYS IN THE SCRIPTURE, "I AM THE WAY, THE TRUTH AND LIFE, NO ONE COMES TO THE FATHER EXCEPT BY ME" ... SO, WHAT IS YOUR EXCUSE FOR NOT FOLLOWING THE WAY, ... FOR CHOOSING LIE INSTEAD OF TRUTH AND FOR CHOOSING DEATH INSTEAD OF LIFE. THE FIRST PERSON ABOVE EXBITED THE "not now attitude" KILL IT !! WHILE THE LAST PERSON WANTED TO PRIORITIZE HIS FAMILY MORE THAN THE KINGDOM OF GOD. Don't be like him. NO OTHER LOVE SHOULD BE FIRST EXCEPT THE LOVE OF GOD AND HIS KINGDOM BUSINESS.

HISTORY HAS IT THAT THE WAY OUT IS ALWAYS DIFFICULT, THE TRUTH IS BITTER AND IT'S HARD TO MAKE IT IN LIFE. ... FEW ALWAYS MAKE IT.

Matthew 7:13-14
“Enter through the narrow gate. For wide is the gate and broad is the road that leads to destruction, and many enter through it. 14 But small is the gate and narrow the road that leads to life, and only a few find it.

DON'T FORGET THAT THE SCRIPTURE SAYS "WE ARE INEXCUSABLE"

WHAT IS YOUR EXCUSE BROTHER, SISTER WHAT IS YOUR EXCUSE? IF THE BIBLE CHARACTERS BELOW DIDN'T GIVE EXCUSE IN THEIR OWN TIME, YOU ARE THEREFORE INEXCUSABLE.

In the book of Ruth, Ruth, the widow, would have stayed back in Moab like Oprah, but decided to go with Naomi, her aged mother-in-law to Jerusalem.

In 1 chronicke 4, Jabez would have resorted to vices but he chose to pray.

In genesis, Joseph endured until he get the throne.

Peter continued to endure hardship after the Lord's second encounter with him.

Job's excuse would have been ... Why did God allow Satan destroy all he had, despite been a righteous man.

Abraham would faulted God for giving him Isaac and demanding him again as sacrificial animal.

Paul who did miracles would have backslidden with the excuse of not healed after he prayed for his healing.

WHAT WE SHOULD BE DOING IN TIMES THAT ATTRACTS EXCUSES

Psalm 55:22
Cast your burden on the Lord, and he will sustain you; he will never permit the righteous to be moved.

Isaiah 40:31
but they who wait for the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings like eagles; they shall run and not be weary; they shall walk and not faint

Psalm 34:17-19
When the righteous cry for help, the Lord hears and delivers them out of all their troubles. The Lord is near to the brokenhearted and saves the crushed in spirit. Many are the afflictions of the righteous, but the Lord delivers him out of them all.

YOUR CROSS ON EARTH IS YOUR CROWN IN HEAVEN.

Hebrews 12:2
Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of [our] faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God.

You outh to be like the Master if you are a Christian indeed. The cross is not only where our sin is paid for, and where the devil is conquered, but the shape of Christianity. In fact, your Christianity is shapeless without a cross. The cross I mean, is not the wooden one the Lord carried to Golgotha, but the invisible ones we must carry and endure along this race. Hence, a song writer wrote ...

WHAT THE LORD SAID BELOW, PROVED THAT HE NOT ONLY CARRIED, BUT ALSO ENDURED A SPIRITUAL CROSS BEFORE THE DAY HE WAS CRUCIFIED.

OTHERS DID, BUT THEY DIDN'T

WHAT HAVE YOU SACRIFICED FOR THIS FAITH?

Sacrifice simply means giving up/out something valuable for the sake of other consideration. What are you still waiting to sacrifice those characters which are contrary to Bible standards. What have you sacrificed for your love for God? There's nothing that can pls immortals like sacrifice. Many have sacrificed alot for what and who they love, so, as a Christian, what have you sacrificed to please God and progress the Gospel which the Lord Jesus Christ brought for us, what have you sacrificed to defeat evil in the now? Not just what you've sacrificed, but the weight of your sacrifice. According to 2kings 3, the king of Moab offered his first son as a burnt sacrifice to win Israel in war, and he won. You may sacrifice your money, time, talent, knowledge, etc. But the weightiest of them all is LIFE. What's your life doing now to better the life of others. Don't forget that your characters and lifestyle influence others. Therefore lead a sacrificed lifestyle.

John 15:13
Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends.

You can lay down your life as a life of intercession for this sinking generation.

SIN BEGETS SINS

John 8:34
Jesus replied, “Very truly I tell you, everyone who sins is a slave to sin.

Don't think that sin only has to do with funication, murder, stealing and other known sins. In fact, according to the Bible, everything that's not right is sin.

1 John 5:17
All unrighteousness is sin: and there is a sin not unto death.

You may be wondering what the above scripture mean by "... sin not unto death". It simply means sins committed by mistake, in other words, it means not being a sinner. All of us sin, but not all of us are sinners, sinners continue in sin, and die in sin. Such sin lead the person to death. Therefore such a person will spend the whole eternity in LAKE OF FIRE for ever, which the Bible calls second death, in the book of revelation.

Proverbs 28:13 KJV
He that covereth his sins shall not prosper: But whoso confesseth and forsaketh them shall have mercy.

If you don't forsake your sins now, it will BEGET more sins. I mean, for example, if you don't stop lying now, you'll keep lying to defend your old lies. Soon, you'll become a habitual liar. And from that, you'll graduate from lying to other sins. And in the end you'll become a slave and servant of sin.

Avoid sin more than the way you avoid snake.

BE NOT OF THE WORLD

1 John 2:15-17
15 Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man love the world, the love of the Father is not in him.
16 For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, and the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, is not of the Father, but is of the world.
17 And the world passeth away, and the lust thereof: but he that doeth the will of God abideth for ever.

The world the scripture is referring to here is not the humans in it, but mainly the falling demons in the world, all their ways and loving things God created on earth excessively, to the extend that one forgets that he's a stranger on earth. Ephesians 6:12 made it clear.

12 For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.

The Lord says the god of this world cometh but has nothing in me. Let not the lust of the flesh, the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, be found in you.

TELL THE DOUBTING THOMASES THAT HE WAS THERE IN THE BEGINNING.

The Lord Jesus is the WORD of God that was made flesh. Note verse 14 of scripture below.

John 1:1-3,14
In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. 2 He was with God in the beginning. 3 Through him all things were made; without him nothing was made that has been made.
14 The Word became flesh and made his dwelling among us. We have seen his glory, the glory of the one and only Son, who came from the Father, full of grace and truth.

If the Lord Jesus Christ is the Word of God then HE was the One that spoke to Moses below, when he demanded for the name of the God that is sending him to take the Israelites to the promised land.

Exodus 3:14
And God said unto Moses, I Am That I Am: and he said, Thus shalt thou say unto the children of Israel, I Am hath sent me unto you.

The Pharisees were mad with Him below, when HE told them the bitter truth.

John 8:58-59
58 Jesus said to them, “Most assuredly, I say to you, before Abraham was, I AM.”
59 Then they took up stones to throw at Him; but Jesus hid Himself and went out of the temple, going[a] through the midst of them, and so passed by.

THANK GOD THAT THE WORLD'S POPULAR RELIGIONS LIKE ISLAM, JUDAISM AND CHRISTIANITY RECOGNISE ABRAHAM AND MOSES WHOSE NAMES WERE MENTIONED ABOVE. ... IT'S AN ERROR NOT TO BELIEVE THAT THE LORD JESUS CHRIST IS THE GOD WHO CREATED BOTH OF THEM.
