Dear Nairalanders, I have read in newspapers, heard on radio and watched FRSC officials on TV saying the official fee for obtaining driving license is N6,500. A government official even said recently that we should report anyone that demands for more than N6,500. Last year, their oga at the top urged Nigerians not to pay anyone more than N6,500 for driving license. But I am yet to see any license holder who did not pay far more than that amount. Have I been talking to the wrong people? Is corruption truly being fought in this country? Please I am ready with my N6,500... which office should I go? Thank you. |

Before you start looking for where to pay N6500, make sure you look for an FRSC approved driving school and also make sure you are certified as a driver from there. That would reduce your expenses. |
