NYC.... Manhattan... technicians paradise...like always utility stuffs under streets. .. cable TV.. water mains.. sewerage. . In this case...replacing gas lines...gas as in cooking gas.After the day's work... steel plates are set and welded over the cuts and the road reopened to traffic.

NYC...enforcement... police car geared for moving/driving violations....not recognised from directly in front as in pic... or from behind. Waiting for cars making left turn from straight ahead lanes.

NYC...enforcement... traffic agent... writes tickets for non moving violations.... overstay your parking time..park too far from the curb (like more than 30 cm)..expired registration/inspection sticker... missing number plate... covered VIN number... parked too close to a fire hydrant... any part of the car just over the white line at pedestrian crossings and on and on... ching ching ching!

NYC.... in supermarket... .variety is the spice of life..... choices galore....crackers... and this is only for one type under one brand...Cheezit by Nabisco.

NYC...supermarket... value added!... rice...from Italy!..I repeat...rice...from Italy! They import rice... have it soaked or parboiled whatever... in beef or chicken broth....then have a few grains of once ordinary rice now reappear as............

NYC....supermarket.... now when we talk about toothpaste.... there are brands...world famous Colgate...Listerine...Arm and Hammer... and more. You need Colgate?.... you need to specify which one!

NYC....traffic enforcement..... Street parking meter....25 cents for 15 mins...1 hrs max at same spot on this block...pay cash/credit or debit card... dispenses a receipt showing date and expiry time which you need to place on driver side of dashboard.

NYC...traffic enforcement. Don't pay tickets... when passengers a certain amount... your car is booted.... yellow clamp on wheel. You then have to settle all your debts with the department.... including additional boot charge... before they give you the code to unlock the boot...which you then have to drop off at a particular location. If not settled after a few days. .. they remove the boot but now tow away your car to a pound...now add towing fees and pound fees. If you can't settle all in a few weeks... the city sells your car at auction. They must be paid.

Well so no way to bypass 1hr..or u have to come down and reapply for another time? Hopefully the owners of those cars won't pay on time so.. i can buy'em at auction price . ... Na biz be this ooo

NYC.... Brooklyn, gloomy day. Barclay s Center.... a low profile stadium... home of Nets Basketball team.Hockey is also played there and is a concert venue... for big timers only!

NYC...Downtown Brooklyn... shopping center...Fulton Mall. Just a few 'malls' in NYC and not as large as those outside. But there are blocks and blocks of stores... no need for many malls. The city restricted traffic on a section of this street and declared it a Mall.
