According to the latest ranking released by World football governing body FIFA, the Super Eagles of Nigeria are now 50th in the world and number 7 football playing nation in Africa. In the ranking released today, Nigeria moved to the top 50 position, as they are now 50th as opposed to last month where they were 51st. In the ranking published on FIFA’s website on Thursday, the Nigerian side got 619 points in December to up one step on the log.
