On December 9, 1948, the United Nations, UN, approved the convention on the Prevention and Punishment of the Crime of Genocide. This convention establishes "Genocide" as an international crime, which signatory nations "undertake to prevent or punish."
Genocide means any of the following acts committed with intent to destroy, in whole or in part, a national, ethnical, racial or religious group, as such:
1. Killing members of the group, say IPOB/Biafrans.
2. Causing serious bodily or mental harm to members of the group.
3. Deliberately inflicting on the group conditions of life calculated to bring its physical destruction in whole or in part.
4. Imposing measures intended to prevent births within the group.
5. Forcibly transferring children of the group to another group.
With all this facts above, the Nigerian State is guilty as charged!
The case against the Nigerian State on committing Genocide on the Biafran State is defined:
1. They (Nigerians) brutalised the Biafrans in the Northern state after Nzeogwu's failed coup being countered by an Igbo man "Gen. Aguiyi Ironsi".
2. They wounded the Igbo soldiers among their military.
3. They starved the Biafrans during the war.
4. They enslaved the Biafrans till date.
5. They divided Biafran State into 12 states to create disagreement between them.
6. They transferred our children, mothers, fathers, enslaved and killed them.
7. They raped, traded and killed the Biafrans.
All these, happened during 1966-1970, and still in existence till date.
The general public should note that the Nigerian State is aiming to further discriminate against the Biafrans/Igbos now and in future for their selfish interest by hunting them back to back even in justice.
What you should remember that America/US is great today is because the Constitution of the United States is based on the Principle that " the people/citizens are the primary source of all Civil Power."
