In d name of freedom of press so there shouldnt be information that shouldnt be released to the public!

If the CNN n BBC of ds world are to put out every info they get from their sources by now they would have moved to sambisa as their headquarters becos not even the US will tolerate such!

The Nigerian Army told you they were not "invading"any country. I can't understand why people are just brain lazy in Nigeria

There is an ECOWAS charter on human rights that provides legal basis for this. You cannot disenfranchise a country because you are President or not respect the result of an election

It is amateurish to ask for legal basis for multilateral military actions. There is non for all UN peace missions. There is non for AMISOM in Somalia. There was none for Nigeria's intervention in Liberia.

However if you extend human rights protection principles enshrined in the charter of those organizations you will find legal justification.

Aside from tjis, there is a subsisting defence treaty between Nigeria and Gambia. Nigeria used to provide the Chief of Army Staff and trained the officer corps. The Chief Judge of that country may actually still be a Nigerian so there is also a subsisting judiciary assistance treaty as well.
