BENIN CITY – The Chairman, Bob Izua conglomerate, Benin City, Chief Osamede Adun has appealed to the state Commissioner of Police Alhaji Danlami Yar’Adua to protect him and family against some person’s threatening to unleash terror on him.


The appeal was contained in a copy of his petition titled: “A Case of attempted Murder, Armed Robbery, Terrorism and Malicious Damage Unleashed on Chief John Osamede Adun And his Property by a supposed Hoodlums”.


The petition endorsed by P.E. Uwadiae Esq. was addressed to the Commissioner of Police and made available to The NIGERIAN OBSERVER yesterday, and also copied the State Governor, Comrade Adams Oshiomhole and the Assistant Inspector General of Police, Zone 5, after an attack on him and wife on November 30, 2009 by some thugs who he alleged vandalized his Benin City office and carted away cash and valuables, he still received threats to his life and property.


“Our client therefore instructed us and we therefore request that you use your good offices to bring these hoodlums to book before they make good their threat of eliminating our client and destroying his property which we are convinced they have the capacity to do”, the petition noted.
