was discussing with someone about buying a toyota camry and the individual made mention of the V6 and I4 engine types, which am definitely not familiar with. I need you nairalanders to pls educate me on this before i make my choice

v6 faster, comes as a 3.0,,4 cyl,, slower than the v6 , comes as a 2.2, The v6 is faster and seriously better than the 4 cyl,, but funnily Nigerians are keen on 2.2 to save a few kobos on fuel,,
The 6 cyl is better my friend,, I drive the xj8 jaguar,, Now if you drive a v8 you would never want to ride in a 4 cyl or 2.2l toyota!you could easily do 0-60 miles in less than 4 seconds!
your choice really!

I ordered for a camry as well and I specifically let the dealer knows that I want v6,the car is for me to go and pick it up now.I would always prefer V6 except the other types like v8 v12.You will have no cause to regret going for V6.

@bandore, is the fuel consumption of V6 really that higher than I4 engines?

@zenith2k9,, the Idea of fuel consumption sometimes depends even on how you drive your car,, Drive a v6 reasonably you could use less fuel than if you drive a 4 cyl,,Trust me I sold 2 no. camry in less than 48 hrs,, the third one is also a v6 and the people like it,, the a/c is as cold as ice,the pulling is great!
if you are fascinated by v6 , you would someday wanna try the v8,,which I drive or ride in the merc or bmw v12's,
