Why it doesn't matter: it's not your money and he's not wearing it on your wrist and it's not your instagram.

Why it matters: His intention was to deceive and make people believe he's wearing an expensive jewellery which he's not. It's also illegal to buy counterfeit jewellery because it's like encouraging the business of people who are stealing other people's brand to make money illegally.
