Please I need advice.

My Cousin has been acting weird lately.
It's is weird to us because that isn't the person we all know for the past 27yrs now.

Where she is usually smart and witty, she is now moody and naggy.

Where she is vibrant and so talkative that sometimes we want to shut her up she just stares and mops.

Where she was once so full of life and always social freaking, she now prefers her herself and refuses to socialize.

She is always lost in thought.
Staring into space.
Easily slighted.
Almost always frowning.
Nags at every and anything.
Seldom hangs out with me who is her mind box, and archive of crazy stories.
She seems to have lost interest in everything and anything.
I have tried my best to find out what's wrong but she won't tell me.

I have gone on google but I just keep seeing depression.
Abeg in Nigeria do we suffer depression?
I mean we have too many wahala to have time for depression nau.

Ask her if she lost something or someone of value recently.

If you ask to much she will start shouting that she wants to left alone.
Then walk away and lock herself up.

Associative schizoid I guess. Schizoids are known to be temperamentally untalkative. If it's schizoid, sorry, it can't be reversed since it is a personality disorder rather than mental disorder. Personally I will say she is cool.

depression, to me, is the most silent of all diseases, more silent than hypertension and HIV AIDS....

A man may be depressed and you wont know it, until you see them the next day dangling with a rope around their neck....

Call your cousin, talk to her, ask what is realy going on.... sorry to say this but this is the time to be monitoring her, if possible read her diary....

Dont worry, she will still open up to you, just keep on monitoring her.....

It can be hard sometimes living in a world you can't be part of. A schizoid is not in danger with self but can be to others as he/she may continually cause others worries and discomfort.

These were people that exposed other to the disease the most. Their activities caused more death than imagined.

just go to general hospital make friend with one of doctors they will write a note for you to get it . If not those chemist won't give it to you . Try super apeti . ... If they are giving you antidepressant don't try floutine . It will make you lose weight ' just get others . But I think depression doesn't just come . Something is behind it . If the cause could be solved better than taking drugs . Good luck !!
