what good example have you the elders in the Yoruba race laid down for the younger ones. Apart the era of Awolowo, what kind of Yoruba elders do we have now? Greedy, wicked and very irresponsible. Is it because you people cannot get what you want now, you have lost control, the opportunity was given to you but you misused the opportunities. Please fight for yourself 'Ja fun ori e' if you cannot work in unity of the country. 'The labour of our heroes past must not be in vain.' Those asking for break up of Nigeria in whatever name or group you call yourself, break up is never the solution. Attitudinal change is required. Thanks.

We're those cowards, make dem com tlk. If dem hear Biafra dere body go dey do dem. Fools

Which cowards are you referring to: is it the "cowards" that defeated your entire tribe flawlessly; or is it the "cowards" that turned your tribe into "3rd-class citizens" and maybe two-thirds of your selfless ancestors had to do houseboy and house girls all over Nigeria just so the leftover children could rise up from the ashes again; or is it the "cowards" that have always bested your tribe in every aspect of life? Dream on okay, we're not noisemakers like you. When push comes to shove, we always deliver, always come out on top, we always win. And in case you still have doubts, when we form the Yoruba country, and we throw you igbos out of our entire territory, then we'll know who the real cowards are again.

True Cowards are the tribe of back stabbers and saboteurs who cannot form a country of their own because of the consequences. Form your country first and let us take it from there. But I know you are all scared sh.itless and just making mouth as usual. The current third class citizens are the miscreants and Omo onile who cannot feed except by the benevolence of men who came and dominated them in their own land.

SW commands Nigeria's industrial base, financial and banking services, arts and entertainment base, the only viable seaports in Nigeria and 2 even larger deep seaports under construction, the only credible international airport in Nigeria, the largest refinery in Africa, the largest petrochemical plant in Africa, the largest fertilizer plant in Africa, the largest gas plant in Africa the main investment destination in Nigeria, the largest educated manpower in Africa, the largest concentration of global brands, and the 5th largest economy in Africa.

You are truly misinformed because the SW is the only potentially viable country.

We have told the elders, we have told Tinubu, we have told Obj, the Yorubas don't need Nigeria anymore. We have everything we need to stand alone and fulfill our destiny as a people. We have the population, we have the resources, the lands, the seas the education, skills and knowledge, we have the talents and gifted individuals, we have the infrastructure, we have the wealth, we have the connections, we have the political structure...we're blessed with everything good...except the political will that some of our shortsighted or maybe greedy or naive elders have refused to exercise. But we have elders like Obasanjo still living in the past and refusing to give up on One Nigeria, maybe because of their myopic views, or maybe because of guilty conscience or whatever. So now, we're like Baba, it's ok. You've had your time, and we thank you for your services and commitment to the Yoruba people, your people. But we're now at the threshold of the future and the old dream cannot carry the new generation of Yoruba citizenry forward to greatness. But the new dream can, the dream of our very own sovereign country, fully independent. And it's a win-win for everybody. The Niger deltans keep their oil and rule their resources how they deem fit, the Northerners can do whatever they want with their resources and religion, and we Yorubas will send the igbos packing out of our region to their dream Biafra. Parasites are no longer tolerated. Then every tribe can flourish as they choose and stay the course in the pursuit of fulfillment and happiness. The Yoruba country is an inevitable reality. We're just waiting for the political pillars holding Nigeria to retire. We have respect for what they have achieved, and their vision, no matter how myopic. So like Obj and co President Buhari, one of the old-school believers of One Nigeria, will rule his 4 or 8years, but after that, One Nigeria is done, we begin a new dawn. Something our fathers lacked the courage to do, or maybe they're too naive and friendly, it doesn't matter. And we won't call it Oduduwa republic like those old men want it.

If Yorubas couldnt declare Oduduwa in 1967, they will never have the backbone to do it again.

There are many things that happened in that era that should have encouraged Yorubas to seek self determination, but they didnt

1) The Northerners went to Ibadan and killed the Governor of the Western Region, Lt Colonel Fajuyi. This singular act of sacrilege on Yoruba soil, to such a highly placed Yoruba son should have been the final straw for Yorubas. They should have risen up against the excesses of the North along with the Igbos, but they did nothing. When the Northerners realised that Yorubas had no fight in them, it emboldend them to do much worse.

2) Brigadier Ogundipe officially became 'acting head' of state with the disappearance of Ironsi. He should have been confirmed head of state with confirmation of Ironsi's death as the highest ranking military officer after Ironsi (Ogundipe was the only Brigadier-General in the Nigerian Army at the time). The Northerners drove Ogundipe out of Lagos, Yoruba land, and banished him to London where he was summarily retired. Again, the Yoruba nation should have risen up in defence of their land and son. They did nothing. Today, if Igbos call Lagos 'no mans land', the average Yoruba man will be offended. But when Brigadier Ogundipe was been harrased out of Lagos by the North, no Yoruba man said a word.

3) Colonel Adebayor replaced Fajuyi as Governor of the western Region. Adebayor never slept in Government House because he was afraid that the Northerners would come and slaughter him like they did Fajuyi.

Yorubas were held hostage in their own land. 20 years later, the Northerners kidnapped and slaughtered MKO Abiola. As usual, nothing happend.

I laugh when Yorubas talk about Oduduwa Republic, I dont think they realise that it takes more than 'mere talking' to achieve independence.

Small pikin, go and sit down somewhere cool and listen.

It's not about your leaders lacking courage, it's a genetically inherited trait which made you people to lose Ilorin. Your leaders had their chance to break away but by a combination of fear and treachery to finish off the igbos blinded you.

So you need to chop a lot of liver, maybe in the next 100 years, the Yorubas will start to be as wise as Ojukwu was. Ojukwu was a super hero who took just one look at Nigeria and discovered that it will never work. He used diplomacy, no way, he stood up and fought, and it was the same yorubas that stabbed him at the back when he was already decimating the north.

Pray that you can born someone like Ikemba Odumegwu Ojukwu or Nnamdi Kanu.

As far as Nigeria remains like this, every other state has nothing on Lagos. U are such a big fool. What happened when an Igbo coup led to the death of the Head of state, Premiers of the northern and western region, sparing the president and the premier of eastern region? Ur stupid selves went ahead to mock the northerners in their land displaying offensive cartoons of how their premier was brutally killed and u expected them to fold their hands and smile and hug u.U think they are as friendly as the Yorubas. Then ur myopic and selfish Ojukwu who u guys claim had foresight wanted to lead u guys outta Nigeria when they had prevented the Ijaws from breaking out of the eastern region. Well, i suppose that was a fight between the East and North and the Yorubas were neutral until Ojukwu tried to invade Lagos which was the capital but still Yorubaland. They were stopped at Ore and more Yoruba soilders (Black scorpion- the igbo nightmare, OBJ etc) got involved because yorubaland needed to be protected. Awolowo ended a 2 and the half war with just a statement. That shows how intellectually brutal yorubas can be. Nigeria owes the Igbo nothing in fact they should apologize to the yorubas for their evil plans against them and thank them for playing a fatherly role in integrating them back into the country via 20 pounds and returning their properties

Can you remove Niger Delta oil, remove ibo importers and remove Dangote investments in Southwest and tell us what you have? grin

The only thing that will remain are hungry miscreants ready to butcher every passersby for body parts sale grin

1. Lagos is the 5th largest economy in Africa without Oil (Btw, Lagos is an oil producing state just to relieve you of your ignorance.)

2. Your auto parts and street peddling of fake china goods on the streets of Lagos is meaningless in the grand scheme of things and whatever property you own in Lagos via COC is revocable since COC is leased and is revocable by the government.

3. Why should Dangote remove his investment in Lagos? You mean Dangote can uproot $15 billion refinery, petrochemical plant, fertilizer plant, gas plant and the rest of his investments and move it to your village?

There's a reason why investors stage their investments in the SW. The SW is the safest place for investments in Nigeria for unlimited reasons from availability of educated manpower, to safety and security, buying power and disposable income and so on. The same reasons investors go with to invest their money in the SW today proves that the SW is the only potentially viable country and the same reasons why they ignore your village and the rest of Nigeria is always going to be the reason why your village shall remain non viable and has never been.

The proof is already in our face today so there is nothing to argue over.

Lagos has natural resources and natural resources is not the required or is the only method of economic survival.

Japan and may developed nations doesn't have oil or any natural resources, but they have ingenuity, educated and productive manpower, they have industries and huge manufacturing abilities like Lagos.

Lagos is the industrial capital of the whole of West Africa and has been for over a century oil or no oil.

You have no clue and it's very obvious that you know what you are talking about.

You may point out its seaports but i may remind you that Rivers and Delta have ports. Akwa Ibom, Bayelsa, Ondo and Ogun due to their location on the Atlantic ocean could have made themselves another Lagos but they haven't and cannot because the Nigerian system make lagos the biggest beneficiary of its imbalance.

This is irrelevant and last I checked, there is no government policy that prevents you or any trader from shipping goods or doing businesses in all the other ports you mentioned. People make business decisions based on where and how to transact and make money, not on where this or that or why this or that port is located?

We were told that Onitsha port will take over from Lagos and all igbo shipping and business activities will move from Lagos to Onitsha, but it was all cheap jokes because it made no business and economic sense, same goes for all the other ports you mentioned.

Business and economic activities has nothing to do with sentiments and emotions you people cry about all over the place, it's done based on realities and prudence.

As far as Nigeria remains like this, every other state has nothing on Lagos. But should Nigeria split or practice true federalism, then will you know that Rivers has NLNG plant, two refineries, two airports, 2 seaports and the subsequent relocation of IOCs and the embassies of their countries to the Niger Delta region will leave Lagos in shattees. Baseless assumption especially since history proved before decades ago per which region was viable, able and with the capacity to rapidly develop before oil and independence.

Before oil and when we had regional governments, each region controlled her destiny and economy based on their regional resources without oil.

The SW developed and gained many 1st in Africa, 1st in Nigeria and historical accomplishments without oil, they did it with just cocoa and rubber money so of what relevance was oil then and now?

The industries in Lagos and industrial estates that's still powering Nigeria's industrial economy was established by the SW region under Awolowo. Please tell us the ones established by the Eastern region and Northern region that was relevant then and now?

What major accomplishments was achieved in the Northern and Eastern region when all the regions were separate and managing their economy and destiny?

Like I said, before Nigeria's independence and before oil, the SW proved it's capacity to develop based on ingenuity, good leadership with vision and foresight. it's already proven, they did it before and they'll do it again and even better.

Rivers state and the Niger Delta has limitless potentials, just let Nigeria stop this fraudulent system of government.

With all the so called oil and potential in the Delta and and Rivers, why is it the way it is and why are investors not investing in the whole of that region?

Oil is not that start and end of everything.

Of what relevance is your oil if safety and security of investments can not be guaranteed?

Of what relevance is your oil with lousy and vision less leadership?

You are a learner..

I know you are dull but didn't think you are this slow grin

I said, remove Niger Delta oil, how much oil do you have in lagos with facts and data and you go rambling like a rabble rouser you are without any point apart from the conjecture you have been flying around with since independence.

I said remove ibo importers and common sense didn't tell you we will be importing from elsewhere and not lagos if the country breaks, wonder if they packed refuse inside your brain grin

I said remove Dangote investments in the case they become another country and he decides to take his kaya elsewhere and you go on about how safe lagos is? Which means you are saying Dangote is afraid of investing in his kano state because Lagos is safer than Kano.

All those your rambling and regurgitation of rubbish will clear for your eyes the day Nigeria breaks. Already your people are scared stiff and are opposing every move to divide the country. If you are so sure of the chances of your people, why stay in a sinking country, the joke is on you pally grin

So you see, it is those who are prepared to match words with action that should be talking Freedom. Not those who are all words but no action

SW developed and survived before oil and without oil so you are still pointless.

The SW is home to Nearly all of Nigeria's wealth

Many developed countries don't have oil or any natural resources

Oil is an international commodity so of what relevance is ND oil

Oil did not make investors troop to the ND, instead they trooped to the SW so common sense should tell you that there is more to economic growth and survival beyond oil.

Who cares about ibo importers? ibo importers don't know how to send their fake china goods to all the ports you listed outside Lagos or to onisha river port? Who is forcing them to go to Lagos? That was silly talk.

Saying remove Dangote's investments from Lagos state sounds silly and pointless With Dangote building the largest single refinery in the world and the largest petrochemical plant in Africa and the largest fertilizer and gas plant in Africa without oil in Lagos, shouldn't you first ask yourself why Dangote did all that in Lagos state and why invested $15 billion in Lagos to start with instead of his own Northern region or the the ND or your own economically insignificant village. It obviously proved that oil and the rubbish you are talking about is irrelevant, it's called sound business decision and not the backward rubbish you are talking about.

Nigeria is sinking according to you Igbos, you hate naturally even your own people so there is no surprise here.

You don't get to dictate to other people when and how to leave Nigeria, we'll leave when we are ready. Mind your own business and leave now if you really are serious about leaving Nigeria.

Yoruba people should not be your excuse for not leaving Nigeria if you really care about your freedom and independence. Right now, you are not ready and all you do is just make silly and annoying noises all over the place.
