God or god is correct depending on the context. But frankly, this should not be an issue. Christianity is one of the most criticized religions . Most times, they don't take offense because we believe our God is capable of fighting His wars. It's only a weak god that requires his subjects to fight on his behalf. Besides we serve a forgiving and a merciful God
